How can i reformat my nokia6630 without losing my data????

When you say try to convert, you mean reformat from fat32 to NTFS? Depending on the size you may not be able to write it as a NTFS. Also, if you have anything on it you want to save, you need a raw recovery tool Squidoo has a good one.
However, if it won't let you format to anything and keeps reverting to raw, most likley your drive is damaged beyond normal repair.

not recommended AT ALL unless you are sure that you are ready to lose ALL your data.

If you don't have important file in your unit or if you have a backup copy of it , and you have all the installer available, another option is just to reformat your unit and then reinstall the OS and all other softwares you are using.
If your are to reformat though, suggest you partition your hard disk into two. Use drive c to install the os and all your software. Use drive d for your data. This way you can reformat your drive c in case something bad happen and still retain your data in drive d. Note that a failure in the hard disk itself will lose both data in drive c and d so its imperative that you always backup your data.

A Trojan virus can only be in your memory (RAM) if it's somewhere else on your hard drive. Your RAM loses all of the information its storing when the computer is shut off, it doesn't hold data the way a hard drive does. Back-up all of your info that you don't want to lose, and then reinstall Windows choosing the option to reformat the hard drive\partition and then install. You could try to run some free-ware virus programs on it before trying to reinstall Windows. I like AVAST Antivirus, Malwarebytes' Antimalware, & SuperAntiSpyware. There are some viruses and bugs that just can't be removed without reformatting your hard drive and reinstalling your operating system.

You can't unless you can back it up with a usb stick that would be big enough to hold it.

try to back up your files first before you reformat it, just copy paste all the imporatnt data to a folder on your computer, after that you can now reformat your flash drive

Im so sorry to tell you this friend but when a memory card got locked by a password, it can no longer be use at all. I experience this problem with my own memory card before, I do all my best to recover my memory card but I was failed. You should buy a new one. :-(

Stick it in a pc and reformat it.
Once in, go to my computer to see it, then right click and choose reformat.

hi cw!it can be reformatted without a cd provided it has a recovery option in it,usually you its on one of the partitions of the drive called "recovery"or something like that..if it is there you will have to locate the recovery software in your programme list and use it to restore it to factory settings..do remember that you will lose all data and installed programmes once you do that..hope it helps!regards!

best way to do this would be one of two options.

First copy all your wanted data onto a CD / DVD (DVD RW best) and then once you've reformated your pc copy them back onto your desktop

The next option would be to buy an external harddrive. These are great because you can just move all the data you want back and force between your computer and external harddrive. This might be your best choice but it is a bit more costly
