How can the sensitivity of the 9966 alarm system be modified with the remote control to the most sensitive setting (there must be four settings...)? I cannot read the Chinese original manual! After installing the alarm the sensitivity is very poor - I can shake the motorcycle and no alarm goes off!! Please reply to: [email protected]

How do I adjust the sensitivity of my alarm? I can slam the tailgate and it will not go off. Also, I can activate my remote start and it will start and run, BUT, oftentimes when I hit the open door...

To adjust the alarm sensitivity there is a sensor usually on the steering column with a plastic screw that can be turn to adjust the sensitivity. To change the setting you will probably need the manual for the alarm and there is a wire with a small button on that to program settings for alarm sound or remote start start and stop time.

Alarm on my bmw 320d e46 2003 keeps going off for no reason

it may be no reason to you but the trembler switch on these can be very sensitive and a gust of wind or a car going by can set them off, ifound that setting the remote lock 2 times switches this mode off.

My 2003 ford explorer, alarm goes off for no reason, horn blowing, light flashing. help

Adjust the sensitivity of the alarm system.

It may be too sensitive and is being set off by the glass breaking sensors.
loud noises usually set this off if it is too sensative.

Alarm too sensitive keeps draining battery unable too diagnose key phob settings

is the battery draining because the alarm goes off continually? if you can find the brain module, there is an adjustment knob for the shock sensor on the side opposite the main wiring harness. counter clockwise will decrease sensitivity.

My alarm is to sensitive What can i do to bring it down alot so a loud car dont set it off

there is usually a setting on the shock sensor it self via a dial, or sometimes there is a combination on the key pad that will adjust the sensitivity. Try to find the owners manual for your specific model and make

My bulldog Model 2010 Alarm is too sensitive and

I got this from their website.

Adjusting the Shock Sensor Sensitivity
To adjust the shock sensor, disarm the system, press and hold Button #3 (Finder) until the alarm chirps four times
(approximately five seconds), immediately release the button. Tap your vehicle’s hood above the alarm at the sensitivity
level you wish. The harder you hit the car the less sensitivity the alarm will be. The alarm will then chirp three
times. The shock sensor is now set at this sensitivity. Any shock that is equal to, or greater than this sensitivity,
will sound the alarm. Set the sensitivity as often as you wish; however, the sensitivity level will remain set until
the battery is disconnected or you reset it. If you do not tap the car it will automatically go to maximum sensitivity.
This setting is only acceptable if the car is parked inside a garage. NOTE: The factory setting on the shock sensor
should be acceptable for most vehicles.

Alarm goes off at the slightest noise/vibration

two ways to do it if you have the owners maunual you can adjust the sensitivity with the remote and a certain sequance of key taps if u dont have that go under the hood and un hook the ground wire the sound will stop on the alarm siren still be able to use the key pad it just wont be loud and annoying any more
