Sorry this tv have a dead "H"High voltage IC,Horizontol transistor IC mounted on the outer wall of the FBT-flyback transformer.The FBT- is the big black block of plastic with a red wire with a cap hook to the CRT-tv tube.This tv must require sevice by a tv Tech.

Does it back up while beeping? just kidding - what does the power light on the tv do after you try to turn it on do you hear sound at all? have you tried changing inputs (do you get video on any input) does you see a picture n the tv at all if so is the picture really dark - need a little more info to get you in the right area - probably a power supply or inverter board problem to be honestly with you.

I have a Emerson lf501em5f. I had the tv stop working and only beep. I replaced the main board and the tv now no longer beeps, but it now powers up for only a few seconds.
Although you have change the main board you may need to replace the Power Board. Try doing a reset first

TV Reset-
Unplug TV from wall plug for 10 minutes, then press and hold power button on TV for 60 seconds--Plug in turn on--
You can leave it unplugged over night

Why won't my screen turn on despite the rest of the TV powering on?
Don't open up the TV. You may regret it. Unplug the set for 5 minutes....not just shut off....uplug the power plug from power source and replug after 5 minutes. It may need resetting.

Unplug the set, press power and hold for 60 seconds, let it sit for 30 minutes and plug the TV back in, try to power on, if no change! the problem is power supply or high voltage issue.

Had the ps3 working fine, plugged it into another tv and nothing, the tv wont pick up the signal.. went to plug it back into the 1st tv and still nothing
Try resetting the display back to standard definition -

Turn the PS3 off into standby (red light on)
Press and hold the power button. It will beep when you first press it, then beep again 5 seconds later. Let go of the power button when you hear this second beep

Wait for the PS3 display to reset

Tv wont stop beeping every time i turn it on. It is a very high pitch beeping that doesn't stop. I have tried plugging the tv in several different plugs by itself but the beeping still didn't stop.
Ur High Voltage is dead.The FBT the flyback transformer is dead.The big block of plastic with a red wire with a cap hook to a CRT(tv tube).Replaced the FBT get power back.

REAR PROJECTION HDTV ISSUE
Decoding the number of beeps may be possible with the owner's guide but this type of problem is normally due to a failed power supply.
These are often mounted on separate boards located in the bottom of your set and can be identified by the much larger parts you see on the board and possibly its relationship to the AC cord coming in. While these can be repaired, the cost of that will approach the cost of a new assembly.
Unfortunately, modern, more energy-efficient power supplies have some critical components that if bought cheap, don't last very long and frankly, 5 years isn't bad, I read of many dead within the first year.
