I've contacted Avanti for spare exhaust filters myself (a fellow just responded quickly to my first email, asking for my model #, we'll see how it goes) -- but as a stopgap, you can extend the life of your Exhaust Filter a good long time, with a cleaning process that's a bit of a bother, but simple to do and a lot more effective than trying to clear i by hand.
Hang it securely against a flat wall surface (if indoors, your shower wall will do and give it a blast of high pressure water—not so intense that you'll shred the pad, but vigorous enough to knock most of the lint off (which you will, and VERY quickly, even if it's a severe buildup). Blast both sides of the filter for thoroughness, but usually blasting one side will do; the water will push through to the reverse side simply because it is a soft pad filter.
Cautionary Note: If you're doing this indoors, be sure also to have a wire mesh strainer for your drain—a basic, cheap, dollar store type will do—because you'll want to catch the wet lint and dispose of it manually, lest it clog your pipes. There's a good deal of it.
