The second hand will not re-set to zero. It has stopped. The watch works perfectly during the day apart from the second hand not moving, but , the watch stops at 11.15 at night. When I get up in the morning I can re-set the time and the watch works as described above. The problem started 4 days ago. I have tried to re-set everything but the second hand will not move.

This is a symptom of what is usually several possible issues:

1) The most common is that the battery must be changed. Insist on Energizer batteries only (as they do not leak) and visit your local Certified Master Horologist for assistance in changing the battery and resetting the watch.
2) The movement must be serviced every 3-5 years by a qualified professional. Dust and debris can cause the symptom of stopping and starting the movement. If you have owned it for less time than this, remember that the watch may have been manufactured and in the retail location longer than this period of time before it was purchased.
3) The movement is defective or damaged. If the watch is under warranty, and it was purchased through an authorized dealer, Armani will take care of this issue for you at no charge.

To properly assess this issue, I recommend taking the first step, as a CMH also has the proper tools to test the movement and battery to determine the best next course of action.

I have a sport watch fossil CH2470. the second hand is not moving, stuck on 12, but everything else works. how do i fix this?

Your watch is Chronograph watch and the big centre seconds hand is for chronograph function only - not day to day seconds counting. Check the small dials and you will see that the small seconds hand is already counting seconds- this small one is seconds counter. To engage chrono hand push the upper push button once. To stop it - push the same button again. to return to zero- push lower button. Seconds hand not moving

The roles haven't been reversed. The seconds hand for normal timekeeping is the small one and the chronograph timer seconds hand is the large one. The reason for that is that it is much easier to determine the precise second with the larger hand. It working exactly as it should. If you like having the large second hand moving all the time you will not hurt the watch by leaving it running. All chronographs work this way. Nice watch - wear it well!

The chronograph hand of my TAG Formula1 starts at 2 seconds to 12 not at 12 o clock also after reset it stops at this point. What could be the problem?

If you pull out the crown to the first stop, then press the start/stop button that should move the second had on one second per press. The reset button moves one of the other dials. If you pull the crown out to the second stop, the start/stop moves the minute hand on, and the reset button moves the other small dial round.

What are the 3 inner dials for? How do I set them?

one of them is the seconds hand of your watch, this sub dial will keep on moving even if the watch is not used as a stop watch. the other 2 sub dials are for the stop watch function. one is for tracking the minutes and the other is for hours. the big seconds hand will only work if you use the stop watch function. you can reset your stop watch to zero by pressing the pusher located at the 4 o,clock location of your watch.

Fossil ch 2470 watch. I have no idea what the extra little dials are for on the face and how to set them. Please help

The dials are part of a Chronograph (stop watch) I assume there is a second, minute, and maybe a date function. Usually the large second hand is part of the stop watch on only moves when you start the stopwatch (top right button) push again to stop and reset back too zero is the bottom button. Usually to set or zero out those dials pull out the crown to the first click (also sets date) then push the top button to set the seconds (big hand) and the bottom button to set the other. sometimes you may need to pull the crown out to the second click (also sets hour and minutes) to set add'l dials. This is generally how you set most chronograph watches the button you push and what moves may be different.

Reset Stopwatch Hands on CL1111 ?

Try setting the crown to position 2 - i.e. the position normally used to adjust the date.  Then use the top and bottom stopwatch buttons to adjust the minute hand and 1/10th hand respectively.

SECTOR CHRONOGRAPH 200 WATCH

That's easy. You need to calibrate it. In normal time mode, pull the crown out all the way and then use the pushers to step it back to the zero position. When finished, push the crown back in. You can also calibrate the sub-dails in a similar fashion.
