Line space I am unable to find out line spacing i.e. single space, double space, etc. Can you let me know where it is.

Your word default is set to double space. You need to find your paragraph setting, depending on the version of Microsoft Office you are using. Once you find the paragraph settings, you need to set it to single spacing and set the "spacing before" and "spacing after" to zero as in the attached picture.

One way to set the option is to hit control-A to highlight the whole document and then right click, and then click on Paragraph.

That is a setting in your printer setup menu under options or advanced. Page set up should come up under advanced or as its own tab.

when in wordpad there are couple of things in blocks

clip board, font, paragraph,insert,and editing

2x spacing will be in the paragraph block its the top row right corner

if u hover your mouse over it reads line spacing click it and change it to 2

that should fixya up

not 100% sure what your talking about, if you mean line spacing in microsoft word. Find format, then lines and spacing then set it to single.

Your normal template has probably been edited to double spaced text.

To fix this you need to edit your normal template file - it will live inside C:Program Files/Microsoft Office/ Templates or a folder under this or something similar to this.

Open your template and change the line spacing to single, then save it over the existing template.

Open a NEW, CLEAN document. Alter all the paragraph setting until you get them exactly as you want them.

Now the tricky part.

Save the document as a TEMPLATE and save to a folder you are familiar with. Give it a good name and below that on the dialog box, choose TEMPLATE (file type dotx)

Next time you need to type a letter with single spacing, open that template. When you go to save it, Word will prompt you for a file name as a docx, thus preserving your template for another day.

Press the return key twice at the end of a line.
This is single space,

This is double space

With a double return at the end of the line.

use the shift + enter to get single line. else you need to save a template that includes single line.

It would help a lot if you gave a make and model. If this is an IBM wheelwriter there is a key in the rt. side of the keyboaed older ones just say space newer ones have line space in green on these you must use the code key and line space.

You can change this by adjusting the line spacing option.

You are talking while typing wright.

You can select the whole document by Ctrl+A.

Right click & select the paragraph option.

You can find spacing & line spacing.

In the line spacing select the numbers as you like.

Its better to use it as 1.5.

And click on ok.
