My lanier color copier LD 435C has error code Sc548, what is the problem ,how to reset?

CALL FOR SERVICE YOU WILL NEED NEW THERMISTORS NEW THERMOSTATS AND MOST LIKELY HOT ROLLER,CLEANING ROLLER AND HR BEARINGS COST OF TIME AND PARTS WILL BE 400 TO 500

SOURCE: what is error code sc548

SC548 means the machine it not seeing the fuser unit. Open the Right side and front doors. Check the fuser unit to see if it is mounted properly.
There is some connection on the fuser module not making good contact. Reseat the fuser and power the machine off and on.
If you need to reset. Press Clear all, 107 and hold the pink button until you cee copy sp page displayed. Press copy sp, then while on that page turn the machine off and back on.

Lanier 5518 gives a SC320 error code

This SC-320 code error occurs when polygon mirror motor fails or poor connection between BICU & polygon mirror motor please check first the connector of motor if you feel that the connector is good change the polygon mirroe motor it sits inside the LD unit please call the expert to change the part

re install fixing unit and do the sc reset. press clear mode 2x 107 press clear/stop until COPY SP appears press Copy Sp then exit, turn off machine then on after 5 to 10 seconds

Sc553 on lanier 435c

I belive that is a Richo copier.. Try this.... press the yellow clear button once then press the 1 then 0 then 7 (just press once and don't hold them) then press and hold the Red Stop button till the display changes and turn the copier Off then back On. That should clear the code, if not you may have a problem with the fixing unit... Good Luck....
