I finally got a solution - the software on the module - or console of the treadmill was outdated. If you hold the up arrow on the incline at the same time holding the start button and while holding that insert the safety key then your screen should read the version of software that you have. After the V: it should be greater than 100. Mine was 32 so they emailed me an update of a file with instructions to copy it to my module and now everything works perfectly.
Still haven't a solution. Did you contact NordicTrack or iFit to get this software update? I called both and they know nothing about it.
I believe it was NordicTrack who instructed me on updating the console, but if you can't find a manager or someone in the tech dept to help you then maybe IFit could help but seriously, I don't think they would know anything about updating the treadmill console, so it had to be NordicTrack I spoke with. Spoke to Nordic Track and they were very helpful. They're sending me a thumb drive with a console firmware update on it! No charge since I'm still under the parts warranty.

I just had the same problem. Of course tech support is closed so I sent an email. We'll see if they get it fixed tomorrow.
Wow, have you not been able to use your equipment all this time? I'm glad you finally got somewhere. Look at www.ifitlive.com under the site map or support. They now have step by step inst on updating your firmware. It's about time I'd say. Congrats and thanks for the update
It was usable during this time but it was just a nuisance whenever I shut it down.
