Check for updates or just update adoe flash player
Adobe Flash Player allows users to view videos made with Flash, a common online video format that can be viewed by both Mac and PC users.

Because technology is consistently emerging, Adobe frequently updates its Flash player. Downloading an update is free, and may be required in order to watch videos online.

You will need at least 128 MB of RAM available on your computer to update Flash player, and Internet Explorer version 6.0 or later for Windows XP, version 7.0 or later for Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 8.0 or later for Windows 7.

Open Internet Explorer and navigate to Adobe's Flash player download site.
Click the download link and follow the instructions on your screen.

Click "Allow" or "Install" if your security system asks if you want to download the file.
Avoid running other programs while the download is going on.

Flash player tests itself by showing you a brief video when the download is complete.
If you do not see this video, the player has not been successfully installed and you must try the download again.

Beforeinstalling Adobe Flash, you will need to first uninstall any older versions youcurrently have running on your computer. To do so, download Adobe'sofficial uninstaller here. I have adobe 5 downloaded to it already, and it still can't view any videos from youtube or facebook? am I missing something?

Hi,

Please let us know more details like the web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, others) you are using to open YouTube/Facebook and also the operating system of the computer. (Windows XP/Vista..)

You will require the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed on your computer to view YouTube videos. You can download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player from this link (For installation instructions, click here)

If you have any older versions of Adobe Flash Player installed on your system, kindly uninstall the older version by downloading and running the Flash uninstaller from this link

Hope this solves your problem. For more help and clarifications, please feel free to reply to this post with the details.

Tried both solutions adobe flash player 10 still failed to register

You may need the latest Java Updates. Go to www.sun.com and download the latest Java Console to your computer. After installation, try to download Adobe Flash Player again. If it does not work then your operating system may not be compatiable with Adobe Flash Player 10. You may need to download an older version such as Adobe Flash Player 9.

You can find older versions of Adobe Flash Player such as 9 on www.cnet.com type in the search field (adobe flash player 9). After the options show up, choose the file to download and install.

Be sure to check your available memory and system speed which are also factors when installing flash software.

I cant wacth youtube.com

jhoeymonteci you didn't say if you have ever been able to watch youtube. I am going to assume that you have Adobe Flash Player installed. What you need to do is to go to the Adobe site and download and run the Flash Player Uninstaller. Then go to youtube and click on a clip. You will be told you need Adobe Flash Player to view the clip. Download it from the options (be sure to uncheck the toolbar option if you don't want it.) After Adobe downloads and installs you should be able to view flash clips again. You MUST use the uninstall to be able to re-install a working player. Hope this helps

Flash player

Open your Control Panel (from the Start menu), open Add or Remove Programs and look for the listing Adobe Flash Player.
If it isn't present, or is listing a player older than version 9, your download probably didn't install.

If it is listed, I would remove it form the list and repeat your download, preferably from Adobe's site to ensure you get the most recent version.
