You can download and install the bluetooth drivers for LENOVO G450 from the following link from Lenovo Official Drivers & Download Support. Select the drivers according to the Operating System (e.g. Windows XP or Windows 7) you have on your PC.

please check your bluetooth driver in your system.

you have to install the microsoft UAA driver first then install the audio driver

if you install xp then find out the xp drivers in www.lenovo.com > select country > support and downloads > model number> etc. After downloading file >install the driver > after installation reboot your computer > after machin on you just switch on the wifi or bluetooth switch (near you laptop hinzes) and try it.

Bluetooth devices needs drivers before it can work properly in the computer. You need to install but if your computer was configured to plug and play. It should run automatically because bluetooth has direct play. Try to check your bluetooth device when connecting. You might not be able to connect properly that's why it was not detected.
