Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

Based on your description
I'd say the issue actually is with the control...unfortunately. This is commonly associated with a heating fault on Bosch built dishwashers ( various models including Bosch, Thermador, Siemens, Gaggenau, and Neff ).

Since the issue is likely within the electronic timer/control, specifically the heater relay solder joint. ( a faulty flow switch, ntc or heater can also cause this, but not very probable ).
These are the steps you'll need to follow to resolve it or at least investigate.

If you feel capable of checking this on your own, there`s a way to visually inspect the control yourself...it really isn't very complicated.

It will require you to remove the control from the unit and then remove the control from it`s plastic housing and look for a burnt solder contact on the printed circuit board.

My Bosch integra dishwasher is showing

The culprit will 99% of the times be one of the pins from the heater relay,

**Flip this over and inspect the solder joints, it will be obvious when you see it.**

...hence the unit sit`s and takes longer & longer to finish because it can`t heat to advance or unless the 2 buttons for "cancel" are pressed...this can also manifest as a long cycle time as I mentioned and eventually display's "1" on units with a display and usually very poor cleaning, no heating ( don't be fooled by the homes inlet hot water temperature ) as a result.

You can also run the unit through a regular or econo cycle ...any cycle with the exception of rinse & hold, and with the door panel removed place an ammeter on the gray/black wire it should draw 11 amps during the wash cycle...after it fills and the flow switch indicates it has adequate water to engage the heateMy Bosch integra dishwasher is showing "*1" where - f57273b.jpg />i.e. ( this may differ from your specific model, but the same rules apply )

**My Opinion - if you or someone you know is proficient at soldering, a lot of times it can be remedied by simply repairing the solder...but it has to be done well...or it will not last.
Bosch recommend`s replacing the control and I don`t pretend to speak on their behalf nor do I profess to know better. This is just my experience (it work`s) and my opinion (why buy new if one can repair ?)**

**Please disconnect the power or turn off the breaker before attempting any service to the dishwasher.**

If you do not feel comfortable attempting this service, call a local pro, preferably one familiar with Bosch/Thermador/Gaggenau/Siemens, to service your machine.

Thank`s for visiting "FixYa" for your repair inquiries. Please take a moment and rate this solution to it's helpfulness.

Good luck.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

EdgeStar DWP61ES turns itself on and off, display shows H:01 then counts up through H:24 then either turns off or starts the count again.

Many owners of the Bosch dishwashers perceive h01 (h: 01) or h02 (h: 02) and other signs as an error. But in fact, this is not an error, and you accidentally got into the start-up timer menu (delayed start of washing dishes). In this case, h01 means that washing dishes will start exactly in 1 hour; if the display shows h02, then washing process will begin exactly in 2 hours. As a rule, in most models of dishwashers from Bosch, a delayed start can be set in the range from 1 to 24 hours.

Timer programming You can delay the start of the program in 1-hour steps up to 24 hours.
  1. Close the door.
  2. Switch on ON/OFF switch [1].
  3. Press button [4] + until the digital display [9] jumps to h:01
  4. Press [4] + or - button until the displayed time corresponds with your requirements.
  5. Press START button [6], timer programming is activated.
  6. To delete timer programming, press the [4] + or - button until h:00 is indicated on the digital display [9].
You can change your program selection at any time until the program starts.

Bosch dishwasher actual runtime versus indicated runtime.

The usual discrepancies with run times is due to water heating time.
For example, your dishwasher may be estimating run time + time to heat the water from cold.
If your dishwasher is connected to hot water instead of cold, it will skip the majority of the heat cycle and adjust the time accordingly.
On the other hand for other people, their dishwasher brands may say "50 minute wash" but this does not take into account heating time, so wash can be anything up to around 70-80 minutes.

Bosch Integra SHU 9955US/12 - when we start wash cycle, the detergent dispenses and the tub fills with water, but the wash cycle never starts (never spins spray bars). Seems like timer is counting down,...

Sounds like your motor is burned out. The drain motor and wash motor are seperate on your machine. You can check for power going to the motor, but to do this you might have to pull the dishwasher out. While the cycle is running check for 120 VAC going into the motor. If you are getting power and nothing is happening, you will need to replace the motor, otherwise you will need to replace the motor control board located at the base of the machine.

When I press the start button, Bosch dishwasher (model SHY56A 05UC) just keep running the motor pumping the water out of dishwasher, irrespective of: 1) the wash cycle it is on, 2) whether the door is...

what is happenig i believe and has happened to me 2 times is that the water level float that is on the left side of dishwasher is stuck.

Either remove side panel and flick lever or pull dishwasher out and tap lower portion of panel and this will cause the level to move and then see hat happens

Loose door handle on bosch integra ltd. dishwasher

you can loosen the inside of the door with a small torx screwdriver and lift it up far enough to get to the screw that holds the handle from the inside. I did this with mine about 1 year ago.
