My Lexmark Prospect Pro 205 printer, prints all documents fine but every page printed, has multiple gray squares all over the page in random spots. How do I fix this?? Anything that comes out of the printer is the same,(copies, scan and print). Even when the PC isn't on/connected. Jets have been cleaned repeatedly as well as alignments have done. As well there is plenty of ink.

SOURCE: printer only prints one page of multiple page document

hi..

You may try to change the spool data format:

1. Click on "Start," "Control Panel," "Printers and Other Hardware" and "Printers and Faxes."

("Start," "Control Panel," "Hardware and Sound" and "Printers" for Vista...)

2. Then, right click on the Lexmark printer icon and left click "Properties."

3. Either on the "Advanced" tab or the "General" tab for some models, there is a "Print Processor" button, left click it.

4. This is the spool format setting. Under "Print processor" it should be set to "Lexmark *** series print processor." Next, under "Default datatype," select "NT EMF 1.008."

5. Click "OK" and exit back out to your desktop.

6. Try printing again.

How can I get my IPad 2 to print on a Lexmark Prospect Pro 205, without keeping my laptop wired to the printer? I do not have a desktop.

Your printer and the devices trying to print from it should be connected to the same network. If it is, download our LexPrint app to your iPad http://bit.ly/IMbDlq. Since the Lexmark Pro205 is not AirPrint compatible, you would need the LexPrint Listener installed to a host computer.

Our latest Inkjet printers are already compatible with AirPrint.

Lexmark prospect pro 205 not supported by this all in one

Please make sure you are inserting genuine Lexmark cartridges. Lexmark printers work best with original supplies. Lexmark does not recommend the use of refilled, re-manufactured or clone cartridges. You might not get the print quality you expect from the ink that is specially formulated by Lexmark.

I have a lexmark pro 205 all in one printer. It prints fine but I can't seem to scan a document and put in word. How do I do it and where can I get a manual for this product?

You will need to install the Lexmark OCR scan software to scan documents and edit it. Re-insert the installation disk in your computer to install the Lexmark OCR scan software. If you continue to experience scanning problem or you lost the disk, contact Lexmark technical support. Thank you for choosing Lexmark.
