Hi, I have a problem about iiyama Vision Master Pro 455 19" CRT Monitor. This week I was using it and the picture comes small and then it comes like it was all the time. It spend all the day doing that. Then the day after I started the pc and turned on the monitor and the picture didn't screened up, the orange led on the monitor flickers off and then back on, every second. I check the wires and everything and I found that the fuse in the plug was not placed properly and it was sparking. Then I replaced the wire completely and the led remained flickering. I opened the monitor and found that the board is a bit dark (I think the temperature rised a bit) and the soldering iron of some components wasn't properly in contact with the board. Then I soldered them well. When I tested it, it remained with the same problem. It looks like the picture will come but it won't... What could it be? Can it be the tube is gone? Or something like a regulator is not working well? Thanks in advance

Have owned a iiyama 17" pro crt for a few years,

These were a fine monitor and with the kind of image quality you cannot get on TFT's.
If you know the graphics card you are using is working ok, have checked the VGA cable connection and socket at the monitor and computer and have tested the monitor on another computer, that would rule out any problems as far as connected devices are concerned.

The problem you describe, and it is unusual that it has happened so quickly, points to a failure of the monitor internal board. You may be able to get this repaired at a reasonable cost by seeking the opinion of a TV repairman, who might be able to fix it.

Windows 7 doesn't recognize my iiyama Vision Master Pro 450 Monitor, what to do?

My Iiyama Vision Master Pro 450 works with Windows 7 when connected with a VGA video cable that has 5 BNC RGB connectors that attach to the back of the Iiyama monitor. No driver install was needed; Windows 7 shows my Iiyama monitor as a "Generic Non-PnP Monitor" with 1024x768 resolution.

Iiyama HM903DT - Stopped switching on - constant orange standby

The way I solved it…

I received from iiyama a quote for repair: 400€ without VAT, 478 € with VAT, with a 3 month warranty.

So I ordered a HP LP2475W H-IPS LCD monotor from HP, for 656 € VAT & delivery incl. And a 3 year ON SITE warranty. It is superb, and after calibration it largely outperforms what I had before for my photographic use.

Hope this will help…

I would suspect it needs to have electronic troubleshooting done in the power supply section to find and replace the defective components.
