Toner full but toner empty error
If your printer is displaying "Toner Empty" error message even though the toner is full, there may be several reasons for this problem.
First, you may want to check if the toner cartridge is seated properly in its slot. Sometimes, the toner cartridge may not be fully seated, causing the printer to think that the toner is empty. Try removing the toner cartridge and then reinserting it, making sure that it is well-seated.
If reseating the toner cartridge doesn't resolve the issue, the next step would be to clean the printer's toner sensor. The toner sensor detects the presence of the toner cartridge and its level, and if it's dirty, it can cause the printer to display the "Toner Empty" error message even when the cartridge is full.
To clean the toner sensor, you will need a soft, dry cloth. Open the printer's front cover and locate the toner sensor. Gently wipe it clean with the cloth, making sure not to touch any other parts of the printer.
If these steps don't work, you may need to replace the toner sensor or the printer's firmware. In that case, it's best to contact the printer's manufacturer or a certified technician for further assistance.
