Plain and simple, It is in need of a service. My recommendation is to take it to an independent watch marker. My watchmaker is $125 for a full service and has a 2 day turn around time. VS Rolex is $550 plus and who knows how long.

I Have a fossil 10 atm watch & the date doesn't change automatically so i change it manually but then half way thought the day it changes the date

Your watch is 12 hours out of step.

The date changes every second time the hour hand passes 12 O'clock.

Your watches' second pass is at midday instead of midnight, so to make it operate correctly, you need to wind it on 12 hours. The date will then change at midnight.

I have an eco drive and recently in trying to set the clock back to regular time, I must have done something wrong. The time is correct but the date, and day are one day forward. How do I correct this?

the crown of the watch has two clicks, pull it gently once and you can set the date and day, pull it gently again a second time and you can set the time. The proper way to set the time and date is to set first the day, date late at the actual date, then move the hands around the clock until the date change at 12 oclock this is evening, then moving the hands around until you reach the actual time. By doing so you will set the day, date and time in syn to 24 hrs change.

example: you want to change it to sat 12th 11am
set the day and date to fri 11th
then move the hands around clockwise until the day and date change at 12 oclock continue moving the hands until you reach 11am

How to set dates, etc.

mcdevito75 here, The stem should be 2 position, first pull the stem out to adjust the DAY ot Month, push the stem back in, now slip a fingernail just under the stem anf lift to the stems first position, this should allow you to change the DATE, adjust to 1 day before the DATE you need, now lift the stem to adjust the time, go thru the complete 24 hour cycle to adjust the DATE and time of day. You should have the DAY or Month and correct date and your watch will change the DAY, DATE at the proper time also.

I'm tryng to set the date without changing the day and time. I've tried to just pull the pin out half way but its not working. How do I do this? My watch has three dials on the face - 1)date, 2) day and 3)...

mcdevito75 here, It takes practice, the crown does have 2 positions, slip a fingernail just under the crown and lift to it"s first position this will allow you to change the DATE (number) once you get the correct Date, push tje crown back in, NOW! pull the crown out to set the DAY itself and the time. On some watches the crowns first position allows both the day and date to be changed by turning the crown in it"s first position clock wise and counter clock wise.

I can't seem to find the proper way to change the day and day of the week for the watch without manually spinning for a long time. today's Date: Sunday 25 but the Watch's Date: Monday 29

mcdevito 75 here, Most likely there are 2 positions in the stem (crown assembly) pull the stem out very carefully to it"s first position this should allow you to change the DATE either turning the crown toward you or away from you, once you get to the proper DATE, pull the stem out to it:s 2nd position, spin the hands until you get the proper day. CY2068 HOW DO YOU CHANGE DATE AND DAY

Pull the crown half way out to set the date. To set the day, keep advancing the time - 24 hours for each day. The day will change at midnight each 24 hours. It's a time consuming but one-time-only effort as long as the battery is good.

Can't seem to get AM & PM set properly

Had Pulsar analog watch. Couldn't set either day or date properly due to being unable to signify AM or PM. When days changed one or the other would be 12 hours off.
""googled" adjusting Pulsar watches" and found site which explained how. You set day of week and date to previous day and date and then move watch time ahead until day and date are correct. Then set watch time. Seems to work.

HOW TO CHANGE DATE

The Skagen watches have  two-step stem; fully pulled out will change the time and partially pulled out will change the date (only goes one way so try turning it counter-clockwise or clockwise - I forget which is correct).  It's easier to find the date length by extending it all the way and then go back toward the case.  It won't change the date if you run it through a 24-hour cycle - you have to do the half-way thing.  Hope this helps.

Seiko Diamatic Day Date Automatic Watch No: 219050

I have a Seiko Diamatic 780632. To set the day and date, pull the crown once and wind it upwards (away from you) to set the date; winding it downwards (towards you) will set the day. To set the time, you have to pull the crown twice and wind it towards you.
