Under warranty that would be cover no charge.! send it in.. The clarifier on a factory radio will only adjust the RX.. not the TX.. unless there's a "course and fine." the course would do both. the fine would be rx only

When I press the speak button, It display's TX and the other radio displays RX

tx is the word for transmit and rx is for receive
if you press the talk button, the unit goes into transmit mode and is received in the receiver of the other unit/s
now that your statement has been clarified what was the question?

I need help programming my baofeng 997s

To programme a repeater. VFO mode & curson on top line of display. Enter freq eg 147.250. Go menu button change settings like offset, tone. In menu delete channel required eg 000. In menu below that, choose mem channel now 000 & it saves receive freq.

Exit. press *SCN button so R appears on display. Save as 000 again but this time it stores TX freq. In other words, you save RX first, then exit.Add * so R appears in display second time round and save again TX freq. Go to channel mode and see it is in 000.

I might do a video to help people. Its the same process with UV5r and other Baofeng. Simplex you just save in one operation because TX is RX.

The problem had been coming on for about a month. When i would key up the RX/TX would not show green- I thought it was the mic but it turns out it's not. So now, as stated, the RX/TX does go green but...

This could be a couple of different things, the easiest is your freq.somehow got off the worst case is the PLL went bad, either way your going to have to take it to a shop.Sorry

Hi my deltaforce is slightly off on ssb you have to be on 27554 and clarifier at 12 30 to be spot on 27555 thanks vince

Use a known good external freq counter, and do the tx alignment. that will put your meter back on showing the right freq when you are..

Off freq on ssb TX.

.002 Mhz is really not that much off, try having them tune to your signal When I talked SSB I would have everybody tune to my signal.

Cobra 200GTL: Clarifier affects TX

Unfortunately, most people look to unlock the clarifier in radio's it is locked in.

From what I understand it is possible to lock it in that radio, however I do not know it because I usually unlock it in my radio's.

I also did a search, and asked a few people I know who are also very good with radio's and they do not know either. The only thing I found was this, and you have to pay this shop to do it.

HT 1000, MT1000, Radius P110 Tx problems

Sorry about taking so long to respond. These radios have worked properly in the past. They have increasingly become worse to the point they will not Tx. I have tried to com-cate with a good radio but unsucc. I'm thinking the Tx freq has been altered? Can one freq (Tx) be altered and not the other (Rx) or will both become altered?
