Hi the Pin Pad is ok but it has to go back to a VeriFone supplier to download the operating software. With the Pin Pad not being used for 1,5 years the internal battery in the Pin Pad will have gone flat. Meaning that the Pin Pad has lost its internal software. This software can only be supplied by a Certified VeriFone Dealer.

if this is whats happening to your computer otherwise i cant imagine ((download needed RAM))
the beeps are post during post the very first work is done by the ram,all the memory in the ram is first transferred to the hard disk,and remains active untill turned off.
make sure that your RAM is securely seated
test or replace all the leads that attach to your hard drive make sure the connections are secure including electrical extensions + IDE,SATAthe ones that attach from your
((motherboard to hard drive))
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they are probably old and faulty ?

download the drivers from the acer website ,,, download utilities for multimedia too ,,, (if you are using windows os you can check if the drivers installed correctly by .... right click on my computer icon >>> manage >>> device manager .... if there is items with a yellow mark before that means that this device's driver is not installed ) download it and install ...
