This model and the Kenmore equivalent still have lots of bugs... I've replaced the microprocessor board on mine twice -- thankfully under warranty -- costs in excess of $600,,,
my suggestions are:  1)  verify that the two door switches (at top seal area one each side) appear to be working OK -- push them w/ your finger and see if the the refrigerator light goes off  2)  either pull the plug on the refrigerator or open the breaker feeding it -- count 30 seconds and put power back to it -- it's a computer, every so often you have to "reboot" it because it it loses its mind now and then...  3)  you should be able to push (I think the left most touch pad) the touch pad key under the alarm to shut it off....  4) if all else fails, ??? can you afford not to replace it ???

I have an Haier PRCS25TDAP Side-by-side refrigerator that won’t stop dinging. How can I stop it?

If your Haier PRCS25TDAP side-by-side refrigerator is dinging and you're unable to stop it, there could be a few different issues causing the problem. Here are a few things you can try to fix it:
  1. Check the door: Make sure all the doors are properly closed and aligned. If the door is not closed properly, the refrigerator will think it's open and will continue to ding.
  2. Check the door switch: Make sure the door switch is properly aligned and not damaged. The door switch is responsible for detecting when the door is open or closed and can cause the panel to malfunction if it is not working properly.
  3. Check the control board: If the above steps do not resolve the problem, the control board may be faulty and will need to be replaced.
  4. Check the settings: Make sure the temperature settings are correct and not accidentally changed.
  5. Check the ice maker: If the ice maker is not functioning properly, it could cause the refrigerator to ding.
  6. Check the water supply: If the water supply is turned off or clogged, the refrigerator will ding continuously.
  7. Check the water filter: If the water filter is clogged, the refrigerator will ding continuously.
If you are not familiar with any of these steps or if the problem persists after trying these solutions, it's best to contact the manufacturer or a professional for further assistance.

Constant dinging sound whenever the key is in the ignition. all doors are closed, and still the ding, one every second, until the car is off. continues no matter how long the ride is. 45 minute trip and...

These can be annoying and hard to find, Since it's a 2 door , check the buttons that the door hits when closing. Snap them in and out several times and if you have it, soak them with something like WD40. Is a dashboard light on to give you a clue ? The ding might also be related to the seat belts. Make sure ALL are snapped into their sockets to test that. Last resort is cut or disconnect the wire that goes into the "ding" module. I would recommend a mechanic with a tester who can pin down the problem and it should not take more than a hour labor or around a hundred bucks.

New refrig from lowes one week old. now makes ding ding ding ding ding noise 5 times? looked in manual no help

Hell Bill, I am happy to assist you! Sounds like you are referring to the temperature alarm. When the refrigerator is beeping or buzzing, it may be a warning sign of a possible malfunction or an unsafe, interior temperature. To silence the buzzer, you can depress the ALARM OFF button. However, if you have already done this, try unplugging the unit or flipping the household circuit breaker for about ten minutes.

If the alarm continues, it could possibly be experiencing a communication problem with the temperature control/board or wiring failure. I would recommend connecting with a professional appliance tech for a clear-cut diagnosis or the manufacturer directly.

Annoying alarm dinging until van reaches 17mph

This means one of the door ajar sensors is stuck. You need to remove the door trim panel and then the latch and then the sensor. Once out clean and lube it. There is a sensor inside every door.
