From the copier: Utility Counter- Then Admin Mode- enter password " 00000000" or from " 1 to 8 " than Netwotrk Settins and ip enter the address you like.

Your first priority should be to put it on the network , for this u should give the printer the IP 192.168.2.XX where XX varies from 4-99 . Please make sure that no other device should have the same IP which u are assigning it to the printer and and try to ping on the network.

What you have done should have worked.
You may need to enter the IP address into the printer using the printer console not via the computer printer properties.
If it still does not work check the IP address range of your network card, the printer's Ip address needs to be in the same range, ie the first group of numbers must be the same, only the last group of numbers are different.
You may need to use a LAN hub with normal LAN cables and not a crossover cable.

Type in the ip address of the copier in your web browser. You should be able to log on to the web image monitor and even print a test page. If so you are 90% of the way there. Now go back to the printer setup screen in windows and click on the "port" tab then on configure port. Make sure the port ip address is the same as the copier and make sure the port number is 9100. Keep in mind that the ip address of the copier needs to match the ip address of your network for the first 3 sets of numbers. So if your network ip is 192.168.50.50 the copier would need to have an ip address of 192.168.50.xx

if you changed the hub then you have to re assign the ip. to re assign the ip, go to administrattor mode, then in this mode, go to admin 2, in admin 2, go to basic settings, then in basic settings, change the ip of the machine. consult from user manual to know how to get in "Adminstrator Mode"

Go to reports print configuration page it will give to netwrok configuration page check if the printer IP Address is in the same range of the IP Address of the laptopn.
If yes than check if you are able to open web browser of the printer on lkaptop using IP address of the printer if yes in laptop go to printer driver properties there go in Ports Tab and check if the Standard TCP/IP Port has IP Address of the printer of some other IP Addressif it is different IP Address than change it to the IP Addess of the printer.

If the button on the touch screen is not visible for the network settings in the administrator settings there is definately something going on. Try connectng to the web interface by typing the current IP address of the copier into the address bar in Internet Explorer. If you do not know the IP address that was assigned to it then Google for Angry IP Scanner, download, and install it. Let it scan your network and find the IP address that way. If you have the right IP address nd cannot access the IP then try it in Mozilla Firefox. You PC must be in the same IP range for any of this to work.

Once you get into the web interface you need to hit LOGOUT as you are in public mode. Then log back in as administrator. The default password is 00000000 or more likely, 12345678. YOU MUST LOG OUT OF ADMIN MODE. DO NOT JUST CLOSE THE BROWSER WINDOW. This will lock up the control panel and cause problems.

You can change the IP address from the web interface in admin mode.

chak the mac & tcp /ip address of ur wifi router

make sure the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) of your system is set to "Obtain an IP address automatically". to check, follow this steps:
On your desktop you have the icon "My Network Places", right click it then select Properties, then on "Local Area Netwok" right click again then select Properties, Then select the "Internet Protocol" then clcik "Properties" then select "Obtain an IP address automatically".

pls make sure also that the IP Address of your DSL Modem is not the same with the IP Address of your router. If in case they have the same IP Address, change first the IP address of your Router before connecting to your DSL Modem.
