To Configure the Router with Internet Access

Connect to one of the wireless router/access point's LAN Ethernet ports, turn off its DHCP server, and give the wireless router a static IP on your LAN:

  1. Connect a PC directly to a LAN port on the wireless router with an Ethernet cable.
  2. Power on the wireless router/access point.
  3. Reboot the PC.
  4. Log in to the wireless router though a browser. (Usually 192.168.1.1, with User Name = admin and Password = password, unless you changed them from the defaults).
  5. Go to the LAN IP menu and disable the wireless access point's DHCP server by unchecking Use router as DHCP server.
  6. Select LAN IP, and change the IP to 192.168.1.99.
  7. Click Apply to save the settings. You will lose the connection to the wireless router/access point , since its IP changed.
  8. Log in to the wireless router/access point with the URL: http://192.168.1.99
  9. Connect one of the wireless router's Local (LAN) ports to your existing network

McCulloch Illustrated Parts Lists:
IPLs (exploded parts lists) are fairly simple, on the underside of McCulloch saws is a small black and yellow tag; the upper number (“Power Mac 320” 600021H or -8 if European) is the model, below it a serial number (11-18555). These 2 numbers are combined to create an IPL number (“Power Mac 320” IPL number = 11-600021H or -8). The IPL number can be used to find the correct IPL for every McCulloch parts supplier I have found. If the parts supplier only list part numbers the proper IPL is the source for the part number.

I have lost my orange serial number i installed some new software onto my pc and it seems to knock off my ethernet connection, now it is asking for my serial number but i cannot find the origional...

The serial number should be on a sticker, somewhere on the router itself. If it is not you will need to contact netgear customer support. They will be able to assist you further.

Lost setup DC
The router is compatible with any operating system. You don't need to use the CD that came with it to setup the internet connection. Just open the router's setup page by typing http://192.168.2.1 on your browser. There you can see the automatic setup.

Installation cd for Netgear router
The default login details and IP address for your Netgear router can be found on the bottom of the router.
Open your web browser and in the address bar type the IP address you found on the bottom of your router.
You should then be asked for your login details.
Once logged in you can setup your router as normal without the need of the CD.

Broken my setup cd and cant install my netgear router
IF you cannot install the router because the setup CD is broken , you can manually configure the router , If you know how to access the router setup page you can already amnually configure it but if not I will advice you to call Netgear so one of their tech support can walk you through with the manual configuration of the router, this is the number 1-888-638-4327 .....

I lost the installation cd for my netgear 54mbps wireless router WGR614 V6
you just need to open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 (default username is "admin" adn default password is "password"). it'll prompt you now for the router's setup page where you can setup your internet connection.
