I am getting a warning about insufficient dik space on my Archos 101 16 GB running on Froyo, but when I go to configuration, it reads 14 gb of free space. Any advice on how to manage and optimize disk space?

If you using a computer you need to clean your hard drive of old not used items and or install another or bigger hard drive. If it's a phone you can simply install a microsd card or a bigger one

you will need to reduce space, delete unwanted files items and create space for new apps, alternately see if you have a microsd card (external storage) which is not full.

Delete all games

103MB is nothing, almost the equivilent to zero by todays standards. You will need to remove more data.

storage memory is low for one particular item
the 12 GB is all free space
you can decide how the 12 GB is to be used

Go to your settings. Then to your apps. When you click on the app, you will have the option move to your sd card. Do it. Do the same with your photos, videos and music files. That is what your Sd Card is for. Once this is done you will have plenty of space on your internal memory to download what you want.

make sure you have some PDF reader installed !! if it's already in your system then file format must be wrong or corrupted.

Lear the cache ,everything you do and view is stored ,clear the cache should free up space.

As posted to another person, download this .apk file and install it on your A70 (It must be running 2.2 froyo firmware to work, if running 2.1 you need different .apk).
It'll give you Google Market, where you can download Adobe Flash Player that updates itself... i've had 2 updates from flash since Dec 25th upon getting this.


Link: With Archos 70 Internet Tablet, you need to download a specific version of Adobe Flash Player from Google Market since it runs Android OS. And A70 doesn't come with GMarket, rather Appslib, which doesn't quite cut it.

Luckily someone has made a neat little .apk file thath as Google Market, which lets you download GMarket and download/install all its apps/games/etc on your A70.

Just download the following .apk file and install it on your A70, afterwards download Adobe Flash Player from Google Market. However, this hack ONLY works on 2.2 froyo android OS, so make sure your A70 firmware is up to date.

I'd also recommend installing Dolphin Browser HD as it seems to provide a more refined flash browsing experience coupled with the Adobe Flash Player.
