_Some_ chargers will allow a range of input voltages. This will probably be "Input: 100-240V" or something like that written on the charger. __You need to be sure__. Others may have a switch from one voltage to the other. The trick here is to make sure the switch is in the right position. In both cases you may also need a plug pin adapter. If the charger you have has neither of those abilities then you either need to get a different charger from Craftsman, or get a voltage converter, which will give both the right plug for your wall sockets and convert from 220V (from your wall) to 110V (to the charger). Unless the charger has voltage range or a switch, you can't just use a simple plug pin adapter.

Converting From 220 to 110 craftsman compressor Model 106153680

Only the motor needs its feed connections changed from one voltage to the other. Someone knowledgeable about motors should do this. But, not all motors have multiple voltage capabilities. I have a Craftsman 2 HP compressor myself that only will run on 220. Check your manual on this. If you can't change the motor, it will probably be cost-effective to run a 220 line over buying a new motor.

Solis 365 royal hair vac I was wondering if it was possible to use this product in australia due to the voltage difference and if there is a product made to suit australian voltage or if an adaptor...

There are products called Step Up transformers/Step Down (Voltage Converters) that can be used. We use these For our 220VAC Australian manufactured lasers when we need to run them in a Dr.'s office that only has US 110VAC.

Info from a website:
Electrical voltage in USA is 110 voltwhereas; the voltage in most of the foreign countries is 220V to 240 volt. A voltage converter / transformer, also known as power converter are usedto convert electricity coming out of the wall to match the voltage of yourdevice. These Voltage transformers or converters can be used safely withRefrigerators, Microwaves, Juicers, Blenders, Coffee makers, Power Tools,Stereo Systems, TV's, Video Games, DVDs, Hair dryers, Chargers, computersand other electronics when travelling abroad..

Remember to leave at least a 100-percent margin for power surges/spikewhen buying a transformer. Some items, such as Televisions, computermonitors spike when you turn them on. For these products you need to buy avoltage converter transformer that is at least 3 times the items capacity.Power tools, laser printers and heating appliances like coffee makers, toasters, microwaves, Halogen, Fluorescent bulbs you must leave a marginof 3-4 times.

Voltage transformers are made to convert single phase 110 or 220 volt.American 220 Volt consists of 2 phase of 110 Volt and European 220 Voltconsists of 1 phase of 220 volt.

Volts x Amps = Watts (i.e. 110V x 0.5 AMPS = 55W). Please make sure not torun any appliance with higher wattage then voltage transformer's wattage. This might damage both: your appliance and the transformer!

I hope this helps.

I have a crosley CR8005A and i conected in my country (CHILE, SOUTH AMERICA) and here we have 220 v. can it fix it?

You need a step-down voltage converter to convert 220V to 120V.

Amazon has them. One example - http://www.amazon.com/VCT-VT-300-Voltage-Transformer-Converts/dp/B000J65PJQ/ref=sr_1_13?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1365005058&sr=1-13&keywords=convert+120V+to+220 or http://www.amazon.com/Voltage-Converter-220-240-110/dp/B001ES8YY6/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1365005058&sr=1-2&keywords=convert+120V+to+220.

Look for words like "voltage converter", "voltage transformer" and "travel"

The charger should not 'blow' if used with correct voltage. Models sold in the US are only for use with 100-120V. When using in countries equipped with 220-240V, you must use an appropriate voltage converter

If you can check on the motor below , if will be marked for the specification ,the voltage will be written .
Now converting a 110 to 220 is a littler expensive and might not be recommended by the economical scale as you will need a step down transformer with a high rating of power. ...will cost.
so decide to check and if 220 ,you will be lucky

Converting from 220 to 110 volts

Most brands of air comperssors are built to work on either 220 or 110 v. I believe that 220 v compressors are more efficient and draw less current and run cooler.
The more expensive compressors have a switch allowing for voltage selection. Still others will have a wiring diagram printed on the motor allowing voltage change by changing jumpers. Most all of the sears compressors that I have repaired were of single voltage with no other way to change except change motor. Do not worry however, you have the better motor. It is easier to convert the outlet plug to 220 by isolating the circuit and installing a 220 v breaker. enjoy
