Dear Sirs, I have a Yamaha Rx- v363 receiver 2008 yr. model. I'm looking for help in programing the volume control on this unit. When I turn the unit off and then back on the volume it stuck on its highest level and its driving me crazy.Can you show me in easy steps how to program this unit over again . Thanks , Tom B.

It controls the volume just fine. It's the power that doesn't work. I'm having the same problem with my Yamaha receiver. Different model. Multiple Comcast remotes too.
chances are that the yamaha rxv363 will not control the bluray since it was produced before the bluray. as far as the LG codes, you may want to try a Zenith codeset. they are similar.
The Yamaha receiver you listed is region free, therefore I assume you are talking about a different unit, in that case give model please.
If you have the problem with a
YamahaRX-V661, then simply disconnect power cord for ten minutes. And disconnect from power all devices connected to the receiver. This should reset the system.
Fortunately you are wrong :) On yamaha site you can see that RX-V363 has a DOCK connector, which supports both iPod docking station YDS-11 and Bluetooth Wireless Audio Receiver YBA-10.
