I
also have Mantis tiller for 2 years. From the very beginning I had
a problems. I was referred by Mantis to the repair store and was charged $90.00
for oil drainage. The second time I was waiting for handle replacement for ~ 1
month. This tiller can't handle even little jobs and the warranty doesn't worth
a dime. Maybe I will be more successful using it in my living room . I have an
equipment with Briggs and
Stratton engines and I never had a problem. To me Mantis mean big advertisement and waste of money.
SOURCE: 2 cycle mantis tiller leaks gas thru the carb. -
if it leaks gas,it can **** air.you have to find out whats leaking and stop it.
SOURCE: where do you drain oil on honda gx25 mantis
The same place you put the oil in and drain it out.Turn up side down if you find oil port, may be a gas/oil mix ratio which in that case no oil change ever needed
SOURCE: My 2 stroke mantis tiller will not prime.no fuel
also try checking to ake sure that the engine is at the right angle to get fuel in the bulb. try seeing if the bulb is getting a vacuum seal. I had to put oil on the seal and retighten the bulb screws to get any suction. make sure the fuel lines are inserted far enough into the gas can, check to see if there is any airflow (try when gas tank is EMPTY)
