My htc desires camera has stopped working. If I go to camera it comes us a blank screen or straight back home. Same with the camcorder. Is these something I can download to fix or replace it? I can't access the camera settings either.

The Desire has had this problem for a while. It is usually a "rigid flex" connector loosened inside,
if you are under warranty, phone them and send it back for repair. I'm not sure what the cost would be if not under warranty.Couldn't be too much, although they will tell you when you phone them. They are at least very good with phone service.

That could well be the problem. I will open it up and try and fix it

Perfect! Yes it was the "Rigid Flex" cable connector that had unlodged. Thank you

The HTC sense display with the time date and weather disappeared from my home screen and I want it back. It was like a live wallpaper that changed with the weather.

Touch and hold a blank space on the screen and you will get options to add Applications, widget , settings etc . Select widget and select Clock ( htc ) , swipe towards your right and find the one that you are looking for .
Thumps up if this has helped .

I accidentally removed the clock/weather widget from my home screen trying to pull down my notifications bar, and now I can't find it! How do I get it back?

It's actually a pretty simple way to add widgets back to your home screen.

Long press a blank area of your home screen. A dialog box to Add to Home will appear. Select Widget, and then select Clock [HTC]. You will be able to select from 12 different HTC Clock widgets. Select the one you like, and then press the Select button. It will appear on your home screen as long as there is enough room for it. You can move the widget around by long pressing on the widget and sliding your finger to the desired location on the screen.

Good luck.

Recording stopped working

Beleive the CCD has stopped responding. A cheap way to verify this is to point an infrared remote towards the lens and press a key. This will usually provoke a response from the camera even if all else fails, barring a bad pickup device...accordianman

LCD screen stopped working

sounds like the LCD screen viewfinder may have been twisted or accidentally catched or got hooked or snagged on on something at one stage and pulled something, if the screen went yellow it means the three wires going to it are possibly broken or the small white clip was slowly coming undone inside the Viewfinder for the red and green to no longer work to complete the image also indicates why the buttons on the viewfinder are not responding, try twisting the viewfinder very lightly whilst on, but most likely the small white clip holding the wires has come off at the elbow inside the camera
