What are the IP address of sony bravia 32 inch
I too just bought the KDL-55EX711 Sony Bravia and have connected it to the internet. This TV is awesome! To connect to the internet, however, you still need a wireless access point or wireless router to have that the TV can communicate with.
The TV comes with a wireless USB ethernet card "dongle" that you must plug into the USB slot on the side. After connecting the USB wireless card to the TV, connecting to the internet is just like connecting a laptop to a wireless network. You must go to the network settings menu on the TV follow the instructions there to get connected. In a nutshell, the TV will list the available networks to connect to. Find yours and try to connect to it. If your network is secured, you might need to enter a password that you have already set up for your wireless network. Finally you can either enter have the TV ask for an IP address and other settings or enter them yourself. You should not try to enter the IP address and other values yourself unless you know what you are doing.
Hi
I got the Bravia KDL-40EX713 and the uwa-br100 I had massive problems getting it to work with a BT home hub. Eventually I found manual setting that work. Firstly I logged on to the router and went the the advanced settings bit, then I went to the DHCP table that shows all the devices connected. I picked an unused Ip address from the range of existing ones being used (this sort of thing 192.168.1.73)
I then used the following settings for the other fields (I don't think the secondary dns setting is right but it still works)
ip 192.168.1.73
sn mask 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.1.254
primary dns 192.168.1.254
secondary dns 192.168.22.23
If the DNS server ip is wrong then you get local access OK but internet access failed.
Hope this helps.
