If you know the HDD/SDD password you can fix it back. switch on your laptop and supply the HDD/SDD password and press or hold F2 to enter BIOS, go to security and on the master password press enter, supply the old password, press enter (it will move to new password) DONT TYPE ANYTHING ON THE NEW PASSWORD, just press enter and on the confirm new password just press enter and lastly F10 and enter to accept the changes.
It will boot into window and NEXT TIME IT WILL NOT ASK FOR THE HDD/SDD again when starting up.

You need to remember what the password is or take it to a Toshiba dealer who can fix it for you.

How do I change hdd/ssd password?

So you bought a second-hand SSD drive (or a computer with an SSD) and it's password protected?
There's no way to remove this password. Period. Your only option is to ask the person who sold you the SSD.

I GOT A TOSHIBA SATELLITE LAPTOP HOW DO I RESET THE HDD/SSD PASSWORD I BOUGHT IT THIS WAY

I'm afraid you may have purchased a stolen laptop. It is impossible to remove a HD/SSD drive password, there are no backdoor passwords and if the Toshiba has a Power on Password then this laptop cannot boot up.
If the HD/SSD is password locked then remove the existing drive, replace it with a new HD or SSD, install Windows plus the Toshiba device drivers and programs to get a working laptop.

I got a laptop as a gift and it was working fine but now it is asking me for a HDD/SSD user password and i dont have a password for it is there anyway iam able to bypass it please help me

An HDD/SSD password is located on the HDD itself and cannot be accessed to change it like Operating system passwords can be.

It is at sector level and only manufacturer can advise.May be easier (and cheaper) to replace the HDD.
