Volume controls don't work

Hello! I am unable to get any sound from my TV. When I go to the controls on both the television and the remote, I can use the volume buttons. However, when I am using the volume buttons for changing the volume, it doesn't even show on the TV that I'm trying to set the volume. I hope you understand what I just said!

So, I know that the volume buttons on the TV and remote work, but they are not activating the volume controls.

Thanks for all of your help!

Thought of that...remote batteries are fine...everything works except the volume--both on the set itself and the remote. Thanks for trying...keep working on it! :)

If your TV won't adjust volume or change channel by pressing button on the front panel..The problem could be the digital control board,it is the one that have a rectangular red on the image shown..

But before you replace the board make it sure that the control button assembly is properly connected on the said digital control board ( no loose connection or loose solder)..

Also try this remedy:
If you have remote control you can use it for the mean time to adjust the volume and channel so that you don't need to replace the digital control board..

Hope it helps..

My remote stopped working can it be reset

Hello;

I found the following reference to resetting anything related to the ZN110 remote:

"This remote control works well for all the basic functions on the television: changing channels, adjusting volume, and turning the set on and off. There is not a way to program the TV with the remote control, so if you need to reset the channels after a power outage, for example, you have to do it manually on the TV set itself."

Or it could just be batteries?

How do you program the volume for AKAI tv?

Pamf6, I am unsure what model of remote you have so I am unable to provide you a code. The steps below will help in programming the remote to the TV, and I included a link on the bottom that has the codes on it.

Program to TV:
Remotes: Basic (Television Only)
  1. Turn the Television On
  2. Press and hold the gray TV button on top of the remote until all lights turn on.
  3. Let go and TV will be blinking, enter the three-digit code using the buttons on the number pad.
  4. Press #
  5. Test functionality with the TV
  6. Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television. If it works press SAT.
