Hi, i have mercenaries 2 : world in flames (bles 00323) for my playstation 3 (slim console 250 gig). I load the game into my playstation and i can play fine offline but as soon as i try to go online (the console displays 'conecting to EA servers') it crashes my console every time. many thanks kyle

Your disc is probably damaged. Inspect the disc for any objects attached the shiny side, and also for any scratches. Remove any obstructions and try again. If it still doesn't work, then the disc is damaged. If that is the case then you can try to use a disc repairing device, which may or may not help.

need for speed 2 game is not running my winxp.

You need to rent borrow or buy a cheap copy of army of 2 v1 the problem is ea servers. But if you get the above game put it in sign in to ea servers to play an online game mercs 2 will then work fine.

You "might" get it to work by downloading the army of two demo but if that fails you need the game.

Problem seems to be the XBOX Hard Disk Drive (HDD). Run the game and play it once for about 30 mintues, then try again with the HDD inserted. It should now work.

The problem seems to be a conflict with the HDD or with the EA servers, as the XBOX Live account will try to connect to the now dead EA servers for this 2008 title.

If all else fails, you will need a portable memory card, not the HDD to play this game. It's okay if this is the case. Create an offline profile. The game no longer connects to the EA servers anyhow.

The answer is no unfortunately. PS2 games will not play on the 250 gig.

borrow hire buy army of two put that in accept ea's terms and conditions load game quit and you will be able to connect on mercs fine.
bad company also works.

Some have got it working by downloading the demo of army of two on xbl but hasnt worked for all.

make sure the disk is clean and the lens is clean in the machine if you've cleaned both and it still freezes try puting a small 1 inch piece of scotch tape on the printed side of disk it'll switch the ballance and cause it to spin slightly different which may get you passed the skip

if you can see web pages on ps3 but cant game, just stick it in a DMZ

you may have to reset the ps3 back to factory default you may loose saved file on the hardrive you do this throgh the ps3 in the main settings
