Hi,

I am running Windows XP. My Franklin Rolodex RT-8212 is connected to a USB port through a USB to serial connector I purchased separately. I was getting exactly the same problem until I downloaded and installed a driver for my connector (even though the supplier pretended it was a plug and play device). In my case I had to set my connection setting to COM4 in the Intellisync Mobile Desktop application (under the Setup + Connection menu). It is working fine now.

Regards,

Simon

Looking for and audio driver for lenovo thinkcentre 8212

Hi edmark701...
Sorry I could not find your free audio driver...but I did find a place here on the net that has the drivers but you have to sign up...suppose to be free...you read the fine print and decide if you want to sign up.
Please take time to rate me

http://www.driversforfree.com/omn_ofm_omd_dt/ibm/thinkcentre-m52/8212/audio-and-sound/drivers.aspx
There is also a free one here too, it will allow you to download two drivers free per day with the free edition...be sure to read the fine print...I use it, its not bad at two free drivers per day.

How do i delete old music

USB it to a PC and open up the explorer : rt clk on start, lft clk on explore scroll down to the sandisk player (should be in the list) clk it and on the rt side you should see the folders and songs on it, simply rt clk on the song you want to delete , lft clk delete and its gone.
the sandisk should act just like a hard driver or flash drive when connected with the cable to the PC. If missing the cable you can buy one less than $10 online.
hope this helps

System restore stopped working

Hello, Troubleshoot System Restore:

Some common problems that could cause System Restore not to work properly and their solutions include the following:
• There is less than 200 MB of free space available on the computer—free up some space on the hard drive by deleting unused files or images.
• After rebooting, the restoration is unsuccessful—choose an earlier restore point and try again.
• Restoration was denied due to non-administrator status—log out and then back in as an administrator.
• The System Restore Service is not running—Open Administrative Tools, click Computer Management, and then click Services and Applications. Click Services, and double-click System Restore Services from the list. Verify the service is started and running. If not, under Service status, click Start and change the startup type to Automatic.
