I have a 37 inch LG tv.model 37LH30 and the volume goes up and down on it's on. It only does it when I cut the lights out in my bedroom. Any suggestions?

Some TV's & cables are not HDCP compliant . Sometimes you can replace the cable to fix the problem & other times you have to replace the tv because its not HDCP compliant . First check to see if your tv is HDCP compliant .

Do an internet search for lg power supply for LG37H30 replace the entire power supply! (because the damage may have caused other bad coponents do to that one ic exploding avoid a headache replace the entire power supply and start watching TV again.

It may be the remote itself and not the tv, have you tried purchasing an inexpensive universal remote?

Since you mentioned that the fault disappears after few minutes , it seems realtive to a weak component and in all probability it can be a weak electrolytic capacitor. Since you have narrowed the search it becomes still easier to confirm the suspect. So switch on an using a hair dryer gently heat the board which is suspected. If the fault clears, you must cool the board, the use of a FREEZE-IT spray will help to cool the components. Now repeat with specific components or even use a soldering iron on the top of the components so as to heat them individually. If the band clears then the component is confirmed . take time and be extremely careful not to short any component or circuit.

Using the yellow, white and red audio/video cables connect to the side panel of your LG TV and switch the Wii console on. Then press input button on remote and select AV 3 then OK and you should see Wii Menu.

Have you completed the entire auto programming?This can take up to 30 minutes and if you don't complete it you won' get any digital channels.If you have done this then you need a new main signal board.Call lg and they will refer you to the nearest service center.

All the new tv's with a digital tuner have to be programmed before you will get a picture unless using a video input for viewing.

The circuit or integrated circuit being controlled has likely failed. You might try 'resetting' it by pulling the AC plug overnight. If that has no effect, a repair is unavoidable. This model seems to be developing a number of different problems.

The problem was caused by a loose conexion. One of the cables that goes from the DirecTV box to the TV was loose. The problem was FIXED by pushing the cables to make sure there was a good conexion.
