Picture jumps after a few hours turned on

After a few hours the picture, which is perfect will start too jump up about a half inch or so. At frist about once every minute, but after about half hour will be jumping every few seconds. The picture stays perfect but this second image is up and back down in a blink of an eye.

My sinotex 42inch stl-43vn86d picture flickering jumping top half bottom half no picture got sound

That may be a bad T-CON board, but more likely it's a fault in the LCD panel itself. Check whether it's under warranty before doing anything else.

My Samsung 23 inch LCD tv works fine for 25 minutes then the screem starts jumping..

There is a Anynet Setting under the input tab. It has to be on the right setting or the picture Jumps after 20-25 minute. Once I adjusted it to the right setting it stopped jumping and it now works Perfect. Would nt have figured it out if I wouldnt have been messing around with it as a last chance deal.

Picture jumping

If this jumping is accompanied by a sharp snapping sound, it may be the high voltage circuit discharging to chassis. Leakage can cause the jumping and a discharge can momentarily blank the picture.

If you want to try a 'cleaning cure,' I suggest you pull the plug (not just turn it off) for several hours, preferably overnight. Sets of this size can carry enough static charge to punch a hole through your thumb if you get careless.
Remove the rear housing (shouldn't be more than 6-8 screws) and using a clean paintbrush, and possibly a vacuum to **** up the dust, clean it well and pay special attention to the area around a largish misshapen black plastic object bigger than most anything else and connected to the back of the picture tube via a fairly thick cable.

Picture jumps

you might have bad caps or the vertical output integrated circuit, try to locate the vertical ic and check the surrounding areas for bad capacitors.

good luck

I have a 50 inch hitachi ultravision that has no picture or sound but power light is on

Probably a 'cold or detatched' solder joint on a component on that perticular circuit board you are 'wedging' with a plastic rod.
