I have two wire in box cant get it to work switch/gfi combo

You might look to see if the outlet is GFI protected. It is possible the GFI (Ground Fault Interrupter) tripped and needs to be reset.
If so, push the red button (reset button) firmly until it stays down (pushed in). If it does not stay closed, replace it.

Also check your light bulb fed by "the switch that does not work", to make sure it did not burn out.
Your switch could be good, but the bulb bad.

If your light switch is not on a GFI circuit and both Lutron switches are fed by one breaker, get a volt-ohm meter, set it to the volts in a voltage range to read house hold voltage (around 121 volts), and check to see that both switches are receiving 121 volts. Usually you measure with the black probe touching a white (neutral) wire, while the black wire is usually the wire that is in series with the lamp. A black wire may come into the switch and leave as a black wire going to the bulb. If you do not have full voltage reaching your switch, you may have a wiring problem where a wire is no longer making good contact. If you are not sure about how to test with a volt meter, search on your tube for further explanations on how to test to see if a light switch is good.

This is what I think is going on.
Pull the bathroom light and verify that there is only one wire going to it. I'm betting that it only has one 3cond and that it's the second one in your j-box.
Connect the 3cond from the circuit breaker to the GFI.
Pull a single black wire from the GFI over to the switch. The black in the 3cond to the light goes on the other side of the switch. White from the light goes to white on the GFI.
What the electrician did is power the light from the receptacle box.
I'd like to know if this corrects the problem and everything works.

no i will use a jumper wire but i dont know where will i put it

run a jumper wire from brass load on gfi to top screw on switch then the black wire from light to the other screw on switch, white wire from vanity light should be connected to silver load screw on gfi WILL NOT WORK IF NOT GROUNDED PROPERLY if your ground is connected to common (white) in your breaker box this could cause issues also. a sure ground is the plumbing in your house. if you have copper lines you can use a saddle connector to ground the gfi, if these options are not available contact an electrician in your area.

If it worked before, it should be a wire to wire replacement. You are replacing a regular switch/outlet with another switch/outlet which just happens to be a GFI outlet.
Wire the old switch wires to the new switch and the old outlet wires to the new outlet.
Cut the breaker/s off first !!

GFCI device is not identified.

if the outlet was wired right and working fine before -- then ' yes ' the GFI has tripped and it could have failed do to the rain. replace the outlet with a new GFI outlet and I would also suggest that since you have the outlet outside that you install it into a outdoor weather proof outlet box.

Are you tryng to control this GFI with a three-way switch circuit? Wire it like you would a light but put the gfi where the light fisture would be. Circuit on the side of a three way switch box (the box the switch comes in.).

the black wire goes to the bronze colored screw, the white wire goes to the silver screw and the ground wire goes on the green screw. hope this helps you...

Make sure you turn off the power at the power panel.
If you are lucky you will find the following in the electrical box behind the light:

1. A black wire that brings power from the fuse/breaker panel--connected directly to one or two other (black) wires (not to the light).
2. A white wire from the panel--connected to one or more white wires including one to the light.
3. A black or white (maybe taped black) wire that comes from the switch and is connected to the light.
4. A green or bare wire connected to the box and maybe also to the light.

If this is the case then you can run a new cable to a new electrical box in the wall for the GFI. Connect the new black wire to the Line In terminal/black wire of the GFI outlet and to the group of black wires in (1) above. Connect the new white wire to the Neutral terminal/white wire of the GFI outlet and to the group of white wires in (2) above. Connect the new green/bare wire to the Ground terminal/green wire of the GFI outlet and to the original box or ground wire. If there is a Load/Feed through wire on the GFI outlet, tape the end of it and do not use.
If the black and white wires described in (1) and (2) above do not appear in the electrical box at the light then they are probably in the switch box and there will be only one black wire and one white wire that connect to the light on the wall. In that case you will need to run a new cable from the switch box to the new outlet. You will not be able to wire the new outlet from the existing electrical box at the light unless you do it through the switch and it will not be on unless the switch is on.
