It is showing 12 minutes but will not allow me to cancel, start, or do anything. We had a power surge and wonder if that has something to do with it.

That is quite possible..... I would unplug the power cord from the Outlet. Wait about 5 minutes and replug the washer and restart push cancel and then restart your wash. Good Luck hopefully the power surge didn't cause any permanent damage to the control board.......

My dishwasher has flashing red dishwasher showing the door opening and closing and won't allow me to start it?

Other blinking lights or beeping sounds may indicate a problem with the dishwasher caused by power surges. Try pressing the "Start/Reset" pad to reset the dishwasher and wait 2 minutes. If the problem persists, reset (reboot) the dishwasher by turning off power to the unit at the house circuit breaker/fuse box for 30 seconds. Restore power and the dishwasher should function normally.

ERROR E03 WHATS IS MEAN ON MY CONVERTER 600 WATTS ELIMINATOR

Hi, here is the error codes that I could find for you, it seems you are overloading the inverter. That means you cannot connect a kettle or other heavy load to the output. See all error codes below, hoep this helps.

Problem: The AC load will not operate, error code shows on digital
display and alarm is sounding.
Error Possible Cause Solution
E01 Low voltage shutdown because battery is discharged.
Recharge battery. Shorten cables or use heavier cables.
E02 Over-voltage shutdown because of high input voltage.
Verify the charging system is properly regulated and the battery
is 12 V nominal.
E03 The AC product(s) connected are rated at more than the
inverter's continuous power rating; overload shutdown has
occurred. Use a product with a power rating within the inverter's continuous power rating (see Table 3).
E04 The inverter has overheated due to poor ventilation.
Overheating shutdown has occurred.Turn inverter off and allow to cool for 15 minutes. Clear blocked fan or remove objects covering unit. Move the inverter to a cooler place. Reduce load if continuous
operation is required.
E05 The AC products connected have a surge power that exceeds
the Digital Inverter's surge capability or the AC products connected are short-circuited and shutdown has occurred. The products exceed the inverter's surge capability. Use a product with a starting surge power within the Digital Inverter's capability.

Cotton program stuck on wash cycle with 1 minute left

Control board needs to be replaced. Many times the control boards go bad because of a spike in the electrical grid cause by a brown out, lightening strike or even a surge in the power. After the control board is replaced... I suggest using a surge protector on all of your electronic devices including the washing machine.

My sharp LC-46SV50U wont turn on

get the service manual and then open it up and do a voltage check on the 5v standby.

if it's not showing anything, then you need to hunt down if it's the ic, cap, or diode or a combination thereof.

Can you reset a Stentura 8000? It's stuck "Recovering Files"

If you were indeed talking about the Stentura 8000, and not the computer, and if your writer boots up ok but gets stuck at "recovering files" **when you try to start writing**, try verifying that the floppy is good (e.g. looking at it via a computer)- it may just be that the floppy got fried in the power surge. You can try using a fresh floppy (check in Windows/etc to make sure, first). There are many floppy-recovery programs out there on the web, and that'll at least get your Stentura sane again. Just dealt with this a few minutes ago, and that's all it turned out to be...but after 3 months, you've probably long since found your own solution.

Power Surge

charlie the proble has something to do with the tv guide here is a response from an older post Un plug the power to the Plasma Screen and also to the Media Receiver for ten minutes. Disconnect the off the air antennas both A and B. After ten minutes plug in the plasma screen then the media receiver and turn on wi the remote control. You should now be back in operation. I was. Also It may not be a bad digital tuner. The TV Guide feature is active even when the zip code is set to all 0s so if you have an over the air antenna attached the TV will look for the TV Guide info and if it can not find it because of a weak signal or the chanel it is tuned to does not carry that information the TV thinks that tuner does not work which triggers the 12 flashes. Also on power up the gray box with the waring message "Plasma Display Starting Up, Please Wait" appears and the screen is blank.

I use HP director with macintosh computers on a network. Recently, when I try to scan anything (single or multiple) pages. it sounds like it is starting and then it says "cancelling scan" and quits with...

something to do with the hardware of your printer.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to the walljack without a surge protector and then try to scan and if this does not work.
pull out the power cable without shutting the printer down.
then pull out the printer power cable from the wall socket.
Wait for a minute and then connect the printer power cable to the wall jack and then connect it to your printer and this should resolve your issue

First the drainn code appeared and now 12 min blinking and locked

You have something caught in your pump and the machine can not continue on in the cycle. You will have to get the bottom panel off and remove what ever is obstruction you pump by removing the screen. You will need a lot of towel or a shop vac as a lot of water will come out. Once you have freed the pump the water will be removed and it should continue on in the cycle.
