Insignia disk does not read from Playstation3

I'm trying to connect my headset to my Playstation3. I've inserted disk and connected USB to adapter. Disk does not read, or where do I go to make it read, so I can install wireless headset software?

Wireless bluetooth headset devices must be paired or registered with your system before use. to do this go to settings on the ps3 -> accessory settings -> manage bluetooth devices -> turn on your bluetooth device then click register new device
from there you may have to enter a pass key which comes in print with your device or if you bought the device used, you could use the default passkey of 0000
hope this helps. please rate me thanks and good luck.

If the headset is bluetooth then the ps3 should be able to connect with it while its in pairing mode form the settings menu. if the headset will not function without other software then the ps3 cannot use them. the ps3 will only read the select music, video, and game discs.

SOURCE: pairing the insignia bluetooth wireless headset with an ipod

Perhaps either its pairing log is full, thay hold a number of pairing internally, and may need to be cleared to make room for another....or the headset may need to be reset, either way...heres the scoop....to clear the pairings hold the track forward/track backward buttons down together until the light flashes Purple....Empty pairing log......
If not then try pluging in the set to the charger and holing the 2 volume buttons down the same way..this will shut it off and reset it if it went a bit screwy on ya.... Merry Christmas

SOURCE: Insignia NS-BTHDP ok with phone, pairs with PC but can't connect

Make sure the headphones are set as "default" under Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Sound>Manage Audio Devices - same for microphone if you're using it for online speech.

MY WD can't recognize by my pc but last week i use it but there no problem but when i plug it again today in my pc the book are not be read and theres no icon that can be seen in the HARD DISK DRIVERS BUT...

Device Manager only says that the disk is getting AC power, and that the "data" cable is connected, and that Windows has recognized the specific device-information (that it is a disk-drive, and that the capacity of the disk-drive has been recognized).
Device Manager does not say that the "spinning" part of the disk-drive is still spinning, nor that there are any I/O errors (trying writing with a pen onto greased paper -- not everything you write can be read).

Try connecting the MyBook to a different USB port on your computer.

Try connecting the MyBook to a different computer.
If it still is not "readable", then you have a few options:

* if the warranty still is valid, exercise the warranty, to get it repaired/replaced,
* disassemble the case, disconnect the disk-drive from the USB-to-disk-drive adapter, and connect the disk-drive as a "slave" drive in some desktop computer, to see if the USB-to-disk-drive adapter has failed
* buy a replacement disk-drive, connect it to that USB-to-disk-drive adapter, and close the case, to create a "new" external disk-drive.

Wont recognize the headset

Make sure the Headset it charged, driver is fully installed, and you have it in pairing mode...but I was going nuts over the same thing, then i remebered that I had to allow my Laptop to be seen by it and even then i had to allow it to connect...both those options are easy to find...select the 'Bluetooth Settings' in the bar just above the main window, and be sure to check the 1st, 2nd and 3rd boxes, Now it can see you, request connection and hookup. Dont forget the PASSKEY is always '0000' by default, and you also have to make them the default devices by R clicking the volume icon and going into 'playback' and 'recording' tabs...dont forget to apply THEN exit, lol...Merry Christmas
