How to install Excel - Computers & Internet

If ALL your excel files are corrupt it is probably a problem with Excel. Try copying to a pen drive and then try on another computer. You may have to re-instal Excel

Excel itself is a spreadsheet - You have to install Microsoft Office with Excel to read & edit the Excel files.

Access: http://OfficeUpdate.Microsoft.com and look for Microsoft's _FREE_ "Excel Viewer" software. Download it & install it. This software can be used to view & print, but not to change, Excel spreadsheets.

"Why excel is not available in microsoft office?" - maybe, you need to insert the disk Office - start the installation - and aostavit checkmark excel - then continue, after 2 min. installing - you will may open excel files.
Alternate excel - may download openoffice (no need license) - openoffice http://www.openoffice.org/

If you have not used it before, your excel might not be installed properly. try cto check if you are accessing excel viewer.

if so, you might need to insert installer disk again and re-install/fix the excel program.

You will not be able to legally obtain Microsoft Excel without cost, however you can download and install OpenOffice for free and that includes a component that functions just like Excel and can open Excel documents, as well as Word etc.

Just re-install the excel only using your ms office 2007. Once you put the installer on the drive it will give an option on what office you want to install, just select excel.
