I fix new drum,developerand toner but still showing add toner

The Ricoh has toner and developer. When the developer is depleted it can not get to the right density when toner is added so the machine keeps saying to add toner. You need to clean out the developer unit and put in new developer. Depending upon your model you may need to install a drum and blade too. Ricoh technicians are trained to dissemble the unit and just replace the parts needed instead of getting a whole drum/developer unit. toner is empty replace new toner

Hit the purple/blue button on the top of the printer 3 times. This will print a settings report of the printer showing you the toner levels and the drum life.
If you need a new drum purchase one. (I would suggest a new printer at this time but if you like it continue on)
Open the front of the printer and pull out the toner and the drum cartridge. The drum is on the bottom of the toner. Disconnect the drum from the toner and connect the new drum. Replace the toner/drum and you are good to go.

sc 302 - charge roller current leak. strip the drum unit (dmu) and clean the unit

2.meter count and details button
3.enter tech rep mode: stop,0,0,stop,01
4.select tech rep choice mode
5.select printer tab
6.select atdc sensor gain
7.set value to 165
back out to the ready screen then power off then on the machine have done this many times and just fixed one today with the same problem

More than likely, if you look in the users manual, there should be instructions on how to reset the drum and toner count.

There's no manual for "machine error 7C" in Bro IntelliFax 4100. To fix this issue. You will need to pull out the toner. Note: the toner and drum are connected.....At the left corner of the drum. You will see a blue tab......You will need to slide the blue tab back and forth for 20th times....And put the toner back in its place.....This is just a temp fix but you need to replace the drum to have it working its fullest......

clean laser unit glas, if you remove toners and pc drum, you'll see a piece of class under them, clean int and reinstall.

Reset the drum counter by opening the front panel, then hold down the power button for about 5seconds until ALL the leds are on. Then realease the button and close the front panel. Your coutner will be resetted.

Try resetting the machine
