I have printer epson cx3500 but i cant install the drivers because its drivers version does not support the windows 7...haw i can install the driver and where i can get the driver for epson stylus cx3500 for windows 7..

The Windows 7 drivers are available from Epson support. Start here: http://tech.epson.com.au/downloads/category.asp?sCategory=Multi_Functional&id=styluscx4700&SelOS=Y and select your version of Windows 7 in the drop down menu. Click Search then Continue. To get the printer driver, click on the Click Here link.

Uninstall the current driver, unplug the data cable and turn off the printer before installing the new driver.

Did you uninstall your old driver before installing the new driver?

Suggest you uninstall the driver according to the manufacturer's instructions. See page 67 of Printer Basics.

After uninstalling you printer driver, install the new printer driver; make sure you have the Windows 7 version. Check here:

Incompatible types and version of printer drivers when installed in Windows 7 can cause issues which might hinder the installation process thereby causing the installed drivers to become corrupt. The users of Windows 7 are therefore advised to verify the version and type of printer drivers before the installation and install only those drivers that are fully compatible with the Windows OS on the system to avoid these kinds of issues.

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:))

Pick your version of the OS and click through (I had to go through a couple of pages).

If you initially installed a generic Win7 driver or an older version of the Epson driver, you may want to uninstall the driver and start again with the USB cable not connected to the computer.

Windows 7 will install its own driver for your Epson printer. If you have connected the USB cable, disconnect it for now.

With your computer on, power on your printer. Now plug in the USB cable. Win7 will automatically install a driver for your printer.

The Win7 compatible TWAIN driver and Epson Scan Utility software can be download from Epson support:

Be sure to choose the file(s) for your Win7 version.

There is no specific Windows 7 driver but you can download the latest version of Epson EasyPrint for Win 7 at the following Epson support link

The current official word on drivers is to continue to use the Vista 32bit driver until one is released for Win7.

I use the Windows XP SP2 drivers with Win 7. Before installing them, right click on the driver file, select properties, select compatibility and the select Win XP SP2.

You will need to download the driver from the Epson support website for you model and version of windows that you are using. Install printer through windows Start- control panel- printers and facts- install printer.(after you have it physically installed and attached.
