I've taken many other phOnes apart but never this one, and I bought a replacement screen for my girlfriend for Christmas but can't find how to do it... To transfer files from your computer to your phone's storage card, you need to set the phone's storage card as a USB drive. Connect the phone to the computer using the USB cable, and open the Notifications panel. Tap USB connected and then tap Mount, the phone will appear as an external USB drive in your computer.

Hi there!

You can transfer the pictures from your HTC Hero to your laptop using a USB cable.

First, make sure that you're phone is turn on. Connect the usb cable to the computer and to your HTC. Once you connected the phone & the computer, there will be a USB Connected option that will appear in your phone. Choose "mount." Open my computer and a new USB drive will appear. Open it and look for "DCIM" folder. Open that folder and open the folder named "100Media," that contains all the pictures from your camera.

The HTC Touch Pro does not easily natively sync with a Mac computer. There are a couple of pieces of software you could try to get pictures from your phone to your computer.
One is the Missing Sync for HTC Touch from Mark/Space - http://www.markspace.com/products/htctouch/htc-touch-sync-mac.html This program has been well tested. I've used a different version (for a palm phone) and it works well. It costs $40.
Another program that I do not have experience with is SyncMate for Mac from Eltima Software - http://www.sync-mac.com/ Unfortunately, only the $40 version syncs photos.
If you have a microSD card in your phone, you can put photos on the card, then use a USB card reader to put the files on your computer.
There is also a possibility of using bluetooth or email to transfer the photos. You can email yourself the photos and pick them up on your computer, or possibly transfer the files with bluetooth. I have never used the HTC Touch Pro before, but the process to get bluetooth started should be something like this... - Make sure your smartphone is set to "Discoverable" - Go to System Preferences > Bluetooth on your computer. - Click the "+" button at the bottom of the device list. - Select your phone from the list when it shows up and complete the Bluetooth Setup Assistant. - On your phone navigate to the photo and try to find an option to send the photo via bluetooth. You will have to accept the transfer on your computer and the file will most likely go to my documents.

you can connect through usb cable and transfer the pictures from the phone to the pc.

get the usb cord then go to computer files, click on folder in computer files with phone name, and get pics from picture foler in the phone folder

1. Connect your handset to your PC via cable or bluetooth.
2. Open My Computer
3. There will be your handset's directory. Go through it.
4. Copy/Cut and paste the pics in your computer.

That's it.

If you have taken photos after the deleted ones, then they cannot be retreived from the camera or memory card. Try a specialised Photo shop, see what they can do.
