3g No Longer Working?

I am certain that my family has a multimedia-internet plan in our at&t provided service. When I got my razr v3 it had the little "3g" icon in the top left next to the bars. Recently, the icon just dissappeared, and suddenly I could no longer access the internet or recieve or send picture mail.

When I try to access the internet it says "Network Problem. You tried to access the address which is currently unavailible. Please make sure that the Web address (URL) is correctly spelled and punctuated, then try reloading the page." It gives this message reguardless of what website I attempt to access.

I have already tried taking out my SIM card multiple times, even that has the 3g icon on it! I doubt it's a problem with the actual internet browser or my plan, I just don't know what to do. I've had this problem for about 3 months. Please help.

Thanks,
Ross

    V3xx.

The SIM card has a little 3g picture on it, so I assume the phone didn't come with it, it was just on the sim card.

Hi, what model of Razr do you have please? I read where you said it was a v3 but the v3 do not have the 3g. the v3x, v3xx, and a razr2 v8 all have the 3g. I guess it might be possible for someone to add 3g to a v3 but they don't come with 3g from Motorola as far as I know. You can look under the battery and it should tell you the model.
It sounds like your settings might have gotten changed in your cell phone. You can check your settings by going to at&t support site, then tutorials

It is good that your sim card says 3g on it. When I went into my providers store and I told them I had upgraded to a phone that had 3g they gave me a 3g SIM. They told me that the 3g SIM card will allow everything to work smoother. The 3g will display when your phone is in an area that has 3g service. The settings also need to be correct on your phone.

Did you check your browser settings under tutorials? If yes, were they correct?

If they were the next step would be to check your phone settings. Fo to SETTINGS, then go to NETWORK and NETWORK SETUP. Make sure yours is set to the correct setting for your model of phone.

You can also go to PHONE STATUS under SETTINGS. Then go to OTHER INFORMATION, Check what it says under TECHNOLOGY and BROWSER READY

My unlocked motorola razr v3 wont connect to the internet.

If you unlocked it from the original service provider and have since put in a new sim card the settings for internet connection will no longer work.

Try to download an update from your new service provider or speak to their customer support who should be able to send an update to your phone.

I hope this helps
