It depends on who you get it from. Mine came with just the cable, and that's all you really need. You can download software and manual from the manufacturer's web site at http://www.sansa.com
When you explore "My Computer" the micro SD card with x GB memory, should be available as an extra external drive.
This drive will show up as an extra drive letter with a total capacity of x GB .
Important
There are 2 ways the Fuze can be connected to a computer to transfer
music: MTP mode or MSC mode, read page 16 (=13) of the manual.
The player can be set to automatic detection of the connection mode
or can be set to either one of the available connections.
MTP mode is used for transfers using software like Sansa Media Manager or Windows Media Player 11.
MSC mode is used for transfers using the "drag and drop" method in the computer's explorer.
