I have HTC wildfire and requested to down load the latest updates from HTC, but this was yesterday, still downloading NOW, mant hrs later, how can I stop this?

2. If your HTC Wildfire s asks for a PIN code, then enter your SIM card PIN and press OK.

4. Enter Unlock Code we send to you.

joanne, I have the evo 4g, downloads is in settings, if not use your htc mobile guide to explain. and plug the charger in when downloading,best to do at the time your'e asleep into a day off, some take up to 12 hrs.

You can update HTC Wildfire to version 2.2 directly on your phone. Go to Settings and then About phone and there should be a Software Update. It will download the new update and it will reboot and install the Android 2.2 Froyo update.

I think the Adobe Flash Player would not even appear (filtered out) on the Android Market if you are using an HTC wildfire. It has something to do with the ARM requirement.
ARM Requirement
Adobe Flash Player 10.2 requires ARMv7 processors (e.g. HTC Desire). HTC Wildfire had ARMv6 processors.
enable usb debugging in menu>settings>apps> then the last option (i don't know what it is in English because mine is in dutch) >check usb debugging
also: i recommend formatting the sd card
The H at the top of the screen stands for HSDPA which stands for High-Speed Downlink Packet Access is an enhanced 3G (third generation) mobile telephony communications protocol. That icon is blinking whenever your phone is making a server request. The H will have a up pointing arrow when the phone is making the request and a down pointing arrow when is receiving data.
