Uploading pictures back onto my camera

i deleted picture from my camera once i transferred them onto my computer, but i wanted to put a few back onto it. How could i copy the pictures back onto my camera?

I have the same problem Post a new problem

I know someone who can solve this problem

Set the camera to MTP instead of PTP in the settings menu on the camera. This will allow it to operate as a USB device instead of only interacting with the Nikon software.

Specifically...

Hit menu on the camera, go to the setup menu, and select USB and then make sure it's set to "Mass Storage" and not "PTP". Then connect the camera.

Brilliant!

This totally works. I've found about 15 pages on the web that essentially say "it can't be done without a card reader" -- but this worked perfectly first try.
