Just bought this machine and installed the software. When I try to use I get a message: Can not run CF_Splash.dll

This was from Embroidery Software Support and it worked.

Thank you for contacting Embroidery Software Support. Please install using the following files and instructions. HClass 600E Software Installation...

1. Please go to: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-Y0r9r...



2. Click the Download button located in the upper-right corner and save the file when prompted. Please make a note of the location.



3. Locate the file that was downloaded. It may be in the Downloads folder.



4. Open the "HClass 600E Installation Files 2_0_0_6.ZIP" file.



5. Click Extract or Extract all files. Select the destination or make a note of where the files will be extracted.



NOTE: The download is large. The download time will depend on your Internet connection speed. Unzip the files into a folder, then double-click HCLASS_Start.exe to install the program. Make sure you downloaded the correct update. Reinstall the original software. Now right click on the program file (.exe) file in the software folder (prob on c:, folder called Futura **). Mine is different than yours...so end of file will be different, so I put ** instead). After you open the file folder...right click on the program file & choose properties; choose Compatibility; Check the run as box (mine is set to winXP 2); and check the run as administrator box.
Try opening the program...if it opens...you can then do the update install.

& tell them & see how to send the software back to them or what they want to do about it.

The Singer software is cr..... It's loaded with a bunch of junk. The best thing you can do, seriously, is go into your control panel, remove all of the software from the PC (keep the USB cord unplugged from the sewing machine) and reinstall EVERYTHING.

If you aren't clear on any of the steps of what you have to do, please post a comment back to me. I'm not only an avid sewer, but am pretty computer savvy. I'll be happy to take you through the steps to get you back up and running. I have a CE100 myself and troubleshot people running Windows 7 without the 2.5 Futura upgrade on their PC's to get their Futura's running. I'm not great, but I am pretty good. We'll get you embroidering in no time and to heck with the lack of Singer's support!

Maybe you should try to contact singer south africa and ask them whats wrong, my laptop did the excact same thing switch over to home pc and no problem ever again.

Try downloading the updates for your software from Janome Global, downloads, software. Version 1 needs patches to make it compatible with XP. The most current Version for the 10000 software is 2.21, and the upgraded program is Digitiser pro/MB , a much more stable and far easier version to work with. The upgrade has to be purchased via a dealer or direct from Janome.

To write to the CF card, you need a card writer on your pc. If you still have problem accessing the CF card, it might be corrupted. Try to reformat the CF card with FAT16 file allocating tablet in the format option on the computer. If its not possible to format this, you probably need to get a new CF card.
