Freezer fan making an awful noise

If you can get to it easily you may be able to lubricate the motor. If the fridge is older then just get a new motor.

Interior fan in fridge not working

These fan motors use a sintered bronze-graphite 'sleeve' bearing that has a nasty habit of getting gummed up until the motor's power is no longer able to start the rotation. In modern motors, this isn't a fire hazard due to the electrical design making them 'impedance protected' and this limits the amount of heating that can occur. If you can gain access to the motor, spray both ends of the shaft with any penetrating lubricant (WD-40 for example) and turn the blade by hand to free it up. These lubricants serve to remove gummy deposits and corrosion but evaporate quite quickly making them unsuitable for purposes of lubrication.
The bearing composition eliminates the need for lubricant but they can bind from a buildup of the graphite in the sleeve.

Fan makes a whining noise as though it is struggling to turn

Check the bushings for alignment and lubrication. Dried accumulated dirt makes the rotor stuck and hard to turn. If this is the case, remove the oscillation gear assembly at the back of the motor. Lubricate the front and rear bushings while manually turning the fan to loosen it. Do it until the fan smoothly spins. You can use engine oil as lubricant or even cooking oil but don't let it flood the motor assembly.
If the fan smoothly spins when manually turned but still makes a whining noise when plugged and switched on, align the bushings.until desired result is obtained.
Note: These procedures are based on my actual experience and makes a perfect result. Extra effort is the only investment.

Hampton bay fan makes squeeking noise

If the fan is fairly new, remove it and return it to Home Depot. It is almost certainly something that has fallen down into the motor and is rubbing loudly enough to make a squeak as the fan runs faster.

The fan itself has sealed lubrication and you don't have to lubricate it.

Motor noise coming from hp designjet 120 nr

The fan is probably filled with dust. This can throw the balance off and make vibrations or cause resistance which can make a humm, not necessarily a bearing, not sure if the fan even has bearings. Anyway, the intermittent noise can be that the fans only run when the printer is hot. Find where the noise is coming from clean off the blades and components with a damp rag, blow around or lubricate the center of the fan, and replace it in the printer. Should fix it.
