Yes, by formatting the card. In fact, you should format the card each time you finish downloading your pics to your computer. This will prevent future problems with the card.

Format the harddrive, or go to the properties and change the setting that says leave copy on the harddrive, if all this not working try to initialize the memory and you will be fine.

If you have the user manual you can refer to page 33 where it talks about the All Erase function. Or you can just format the memory card which is a permanent deletion of all of the images that have been written to the memory card.
