if your computer is 5 yrs or older it might not support windows 7 also you will need a minimum of 1 GB of RAM for 32 bit or 2GB of RAMfor 64 bit to install windows 7 hope this helps

First of all download compatiable driver for that printer for win 7and install it
You probably need a driver that is compatiable with windows 7. My recommendation is to find out the company that makes the disk drive and see if they have windows 7 drivers for it. Download the latest drivers and test it. If that does not work you might have to purchase a new drive that is compatiable with window 7.
