Samsung Galaxy S GTI9000 Smartphone Logo
Posted on Feb 15, 2011

Galaxy S won't switch on properly. Switches on to Galaxy logo, stays like that for a while, then screen goes black, the two controls light up, phone vibrates every couple of minutes. When I switched the phone off the night before it was on silent and the battery was low.

1. Press & hold START button
2. When "VIMICRO" appears, Then Press & Hold the MENU button
3. The Android System Recovery <3e> Menu should appear
4. Scroll down using the Volume Key to "wipe data/factory reset"
5. Press HOME Button
6. Scroll down to "Yes - delete all user data"
7. Press the HOME Button
At this point the system will do a recovery and hard start, and will be on "reboot system now

I cannot download flash player in my android from the market. It says the item could not be found

The Adobe Flash Player available on the Android Market only supports the following:
  • Android 2.2.x (minimum software requirement)
  • ARMv7 processor (minimum hardware requirement)

An example of the unsupported phone is HTC Wildfire. It had ARMv6 processor.
