Sound like it is the dual water control only. Try filling ice maker with tap water and then let freeze. If after the ice in the ice maker dumps the cubes into the ice container and does not refill I would think the water control valve is at fault. I see your model had three different choices of water control valves and listed on this page=> Here and in right sidebar about 1/3rd down the page you will see three different water control valves. Here is your Service Manual=> LG LFX25960ST Stainless Steel French Door Refrigerator Try this test first because you mentioned no water in trays. Let me know what results you get and if you have more questions feel free to ask, Thanks, Sea Breeze

it's not the water control. The line is frozen I have the exact fridge and if the house is not at 22 Degree C the line freezes and doesn't make ice

Tc 600 I'm not sure what you are trying to say here. The manual for the model number of refrigerator listed has some of the best process functions on pages 25- 27 that I have seen when it comes to ice makers. When water freezes in the fill tube it usually is because a slow leak is coming from the water control valve that is not seated properly, has debris trapped in the valve seat or the household water pressure is too low and water oozes by the valve seat. Mlennstrom seems to have been please with my solution, and did well listing model number brand and a clear description of their problem. You also can ask questions from my sites if you should need. Thanks, Sea Breeze

Ice Maker bar won't come down

I have not worked on this model before but on the whirlpool they have a bar as well. you can turn off ice maker by pushing it up and it locks in place to stop ice production. if u want it to make ice u push it up slightly and it should move down. also check the ice maker tray to be sure u are getting water to the tray. if u get the bar to go down and no water comes in then check that u have water at the back of fridge.. if u have water there but not in the tray then you may have a bad water inlet valve on back of fridge.

Ice maker not working on Kenmore Model # 106.54563300 Water comes through water dispenser fine Water came pouring out through ice dispenser door so I flipped bar up to turn it off Removed front box held in...

First the arm has to be in the down position. It sounds like you said theres water in the ice maker. If thats the case then it should have frozed. The ice cannot drop unless the ice maker heater comes on. Then the ice maker scoops the ice and drops into the resoviour thingy. If you have ice in the ice maker tray but no ice in the bucket then the ice maker is defective.

Ice maker not producing ice. Tried everything in the Troubleshooting section of Users Manual. Replaced water filter. The front water dispenser is working.

the most likely thing would be a bad water valve.try to reset the ice maker and watch to see if the tray fills up the fill tube could also be blocked with frozen water.the last thing is simply a bad ice maker.

Sub zero particles in ice from ice maker

This issue occurs if your Ice Maker is not clean or have dust particals inside, follow the below steps in order to clean it properly:

Step 1 Lift the power bar located above the ice maker storage tray.
  • Step 2 Unplug the refrigerator.
  • Step 3 Allow the refrigerator and freezer to defrost. This will melt any large blocks of ice that have accumulated in the ice maker.
    Clean the Ice Machine
  • Step 1 Remove the ice machine storage tray.
  • Step 2 Dump any water in the ice machine storage tray.
  • Step 3 Wash the ice machine storage tray using warm, soapy water. Rinse and allow to dry completely.
  • Step 4 Sanitize the lines of the ice maker. Consult your manufacturer's directions for steps to do this, because it's not available on all models.
    Reassemble the Ice Maker
  • Step 1 Replace the ice machine storage tray.
  • Step 2 Plug the refrigerator into the outlet to restore power.
  • Step 3 Lower the internal power bar located just above the ice machine storage tray. This allows the ice machine to make new ice.

    No ice from ice maker

sounds like the inlet valve is defective. you should have a dual water inlet valve, one side for the dispencer and the other for the ice maker. I would check to be sure the inlet for the icemaker is not clogged, also check to be sure that ice has not clogged the water line near the ice maker, or the valve could be defective.

    Ice maker doesn't work!

Could be the sensor for the ice maker to fill up....we have a wire bar that flips up when full so it shuts off ....also a piece of ice gets stuck in the plastic fingers somtimes but since you defrosted it that shouldn't be the problem....not sure if you can take the ice maker out yourself ...better call the repair man ...

Water doesnt stop after ice tray is filled

there is a micro switch in the ice maker motor module that shuts power off to the ice-maker water valve when the ice maker is full but i rarely see them go bad this is the easy way to deal with it pull the unit out unplug both the valves and turn the water on a sec if its running in the ice maker with the valves are unplugged then replace the valves if its not replace the ice-maker motor module

Kenmore Coldspot Ice maker is not working on our side by side refrigerator

Just above the tray that holds the ice cubes is a wire bar. If the bar is down, it will make ice. If the bar is up, it will stop making ice. When there is enough Ice in the tray, when the bar comes downm, it will hit the ice. If the bar is not completely down, no ice will be made.

I bet the bar is stuck, or you don't have a water supply to make ice (or it's plugged - de-ice the freezer).

Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator Ice Maker Not Working

A couple things to check here. First see if there is ice in the tray. If so chances are the ice maker will need to be replaced however these are very reliable ice makers. If no ice in the tray pull up on the ejector blade (don't worry you won't break it) turn clockwise to start the ice maker thru a cycle. The ejector blade is the long white bar with fingers on it that run the length of the tray. Once it completes a cycle it should fill with water. If no water then either the fill tube is frozen over and will need to be defrosted or the water valve is bad.
