Quickie s-525 joystick lights blink chair does not drive. what is the problem and its solution.

Press and hold power button til beep then push joystick forward and hold joystick til beep then pull the joystick back and hold joystick til beeps. turn power off then on. should be unlocked now

Did you cross your connectors? Is the joystick gimbal backwards?

Check to see that both motors are in the "engage" position. If they are, the problem could be in the joystick, or the communications cable between the joystick and the controller. If you can't find the problem, call your dealer and tell them how many lights are flashing. This will give them a better idea of what's going on. Good Luck!

Joy When you plug in the charger the lights on the joystick will scroll because of something called charger inhibit which disables the joystick when charging It is a safety feature. Now when you disconnect the charger turn off the chair and then turn it back on you should then get all the battery lights indicating the charge level If fully charged all the lights will be lit. If after you unplug the charger and you still get the scrolling lights then you have a problem with the charger inhibit function in the joystick and it will have to be replaced. Hope this helps you

This cable for the Quickie 525 Q-tronix electronics is made by Penny and Giles electronics. It is called a Redel cable and comes in lengths of 3, 4, and 5 feet. It is available from Quickie and Pride and probably available to retail customers from The Aftermarket Group or Wheelchair Wizard.

Try to reset your manual brake release as this is a common problem.
If you continue to have a problem, contact your manufacturer or dealer for service. If your insurance purchased they power chair for you, they may also cover the cost of repairs.

I think you have locked your controller, or put it in "sleep mode". Turn on the chair again and push the joystick forward, then to reverse, then forward again and release. It should fire up. Let us know if that worked.

If it is just one red light blinking, then your batteries are below the level necessary to power the chair. Charge and see if they come back up, or replace if they won't.

Any reputable dealer will have a PnG or Qutronix programmer that plugs into the chair in order to program the profiles. This dealer obviously does`nt know that. Call a different dealer.
